It was a little smaller than expected. However, that worked out for the best because my old sewing box was huge, a mess and literally falling apart. So the size inspired me to clean out and organize for my new one! I really liked the fact that it has a built in pin cushion and storage pocket on the lid. I love the material used to cover it and the easy to use close fastener. I'm very happy with it!
We like it fine but wish it would have a tray at the top. It is nice w/a lot of space.
You are basically paying for the basket. It comes with the items listed but they are cheap and can be purchased at the local dollar store. The items came inside the basket rolling around.
