We purchased two of these chairs for our back deck. They are very comfortable and everyone wants to sit and glide in them. They were easy to put together for one person.
These are terrific for the price- I originally had purchased basically the same items from another store for double the price. I like the cushions on these better and they have held up well so far. A great addition to the deck.
OMG folks. If you are looking for a glider for your patio, deck, porch enclosed or otherwise. STOP looking! You have found It. I was worried the cushion would be thinner like some other (A Bench I bought elsewhere). Wow this Is MY chair. I have a bad back and this Is for me. Not only that It Is a fairly simple PUT TOGETHER. AND the glider frame Is good steel. I priced these chairs everywhere, and I mean every where. And this rollback price right now Is UNBEATABLE. Under $200 total with NY tax of 8%. ANY thing equal goes for $249 or more.+ So I NEVER knew Wal Mart would even have this Item. I found through a link. Now I know. Great Going I have to say this time Wal-Mart
My new Wicker Glider is a wonderful chair, and fit perfectly on the side of my small porch. It offers not only comfort, but is luxurious as well. It has a unique quality about the weave of the wicker that states its fine material. The cushion is water resistant as I have already found out, and it takes little time to dry. I love rocking back and forth on the easy-glide rockers, watching the many birds from my Wal Mart bird feeder chirping in the evening light. You must purchase one of these fabulous gliders to add to your patio or porch.
Good value for the money. Ordered 2 of these to complete a wicker chat grouping. This is a deep seater chair- it takes up more of my patio than I wanted, but many of the patio chairs on the market do, and this was the only wicker glider in this price range. If you are short, you need to add an extra pillow in the back. Walmart site to store staff were very nice. They wheeled it to my car and loaded it.
This chair is comfortable and looks great on my deck. The price is excellent and I would recommend it highly.
I purchased two of these earlier this month. I'm having to return one due to a misplaced bolt hole, which will not allow the chair to glide properly when assembled. The other chair is perfect and has a very nice, smooth glide. The chairs are quite large and deep, so if you're small in stature you may need an extra pillow for the back, like me. However, I do recommend the chairs. The gliding mechanism has a nice glide and the chair is made very well. I may end up replacing the foam cushion later, as it's not very resilient. Too bad everything is imported, though. For the money, it's a good deal. Perfect for sipping coffee in the morning, watching the sun rise.
These chairs are very comfortable & attractive especially at the price. A little deep for a short person, so I needed another larger cushion behind my back. The last step of assembly, the stationary bottom section that the chair actually rocks from,was a bit difficult for a novice. Already assembled at a local store these would have been double the price.
I bought 2 of these chairs. One of the chairs assembled easily. The other chair has a defective gliding mechanism. I am having the same problem as another Walmart customer. The arms on the glider will not attach to the chair so I will go out and buy the tapping screws as she has recommended. It is frustrating, but the chair is very nice.
Let me start by saying, these are lovely chairs IF, keyword IF you can put them together. Started out very easily, until the very last part. The gliding mechanism, the screws are not tapped correctly, therfore preventing you from screwing on the gliding mechanism. My husband had to retap the screws to finish putting them together. So, if you do not have a tapping set, or if you are a woman doing it alone, I DO NOT recommend these chairs. Once put together they are lovely, but the process was exhausting once we realized we had to go out and purchase a tapping kit to retap all screws. Otherwise the glider would not be attached to the chairs. So in closing I would say 2 stars because of all the problems in assembling the gliders...
