This PS2 game is AWESOME! My girls love singing the songs and I have to admit...I enjoy it too! If you want to sing and are afraid to go in front of people, this is for you!!
My kids and I love to sing with SingStar Pop! I would like to see a SingStar Country too! SingStar Pop has a lot of popular songs that even my 5 year old is familiar with and is able to sing to! Definitely worth purchasing to give more parent to child interaction with a video game.
After enjoying the other versions of Singstar we needed this one to complete the collection. We could not find this in any store, so I was happy to find it at Walmart.com with free ship-to-store available. It is a fun game and we love to have family and friends over to play at parties. We like the party mode that is available. We have had a lot of laughs at others expense when they do not know a song or cannot carry a tune whatsoever.
My family & I love this product. It's great for the school age children because they recognize some of the songs from the radio. We also have the 80's disc. My kids didn't know many of the songs. But they learned quickly! I also brought this to a party with only grown ups. We were all battleing it out for the top spot. Lots of fun.
Featuring some of today's more popular songs, even younger kids can enjoy playing along. The lines on screen show you if you need to go up or down in pitch. Our competetive family has laughed until we cried while playing.
This game is lots of fun for the whole family. We love it. The only complaint I have is that the volume on the mics are not very good. We also have the American Idol Encore game and the mic quality is much better. SingStar is a fun game however and we look forward to many parties and fun nights.
This game was fun overall though I wish it had more songs. We have the Singstar Rock and I like this one better. These games are definitely fun w/ the kids or w/ a group of friends.
The 'Pop' SingStar game follows the same format as the other SingStar games. It lacks truly competitive options. It also lacks unlockables based on rank or successes. But, the game is cheap and makes up for these shortcomings with the viewing of music videos. Also, the game play is very easy!
my daughter and her friend used this for hours. At 11 pm I finally said enough. I would say that they loved the whole thing once they understood how it worked.
This is a good game,but it could be better.Its great to sing along,but it doesnt give you the option to remove the vocals so you can hear just your own voice.American Idol game gives you this option.It needs to be your own voice singing so when you have contest with several people etc not with the vocals.
