Put in refrigerator the night before cooking them for breakfast. Heat with tin foil over top loosely, they brown to soon if you don't use tin foil. Then the last few minutes uncover so they can brown some. Serve with jellies and or mustard . When making a lot of them for a party after baking them, they can be put in a crock pot on the warm setting, keeps them ready to eat for a good period of time.
I bought these because they were on clearance but these are literally so freaking good and easy to make. I made mine in a toaster oven, and although, maybe a little dough-y I loved them, there's a significant bread to meat ratio difference but I love the bread so I could not care less. Will definitely buy more if the price stays down ($2 at my store)
This is good to keep in your freezer to have a quick and easy breakfast when friends drop by. I haven't found anyone that doesn't like these yet.
These are crazy mad awesome!!! There are several and I could have eaten the whole pan. I read a review that said they were on clearance? I sure hope not. I just found them! Highly recommend. Can't take a pic because they are all gone...
I just had these while in a trip with my family and I am now desperately trying to find them in my area... they were delicious!! They reminded me of chicken minis but with an excellent sausage inside, they're just great and if you're lucky enough to run across them you need to try them!
The packages I opened do not say from frozen 300 degrees and covered with foil. It says 350 degree from frozen. Hence, the rolls were hard, dark, and not very good. PS: Had these before and now there is more bread and less meat. This is not up to par of your products.
Because these were by Sister Schubert's, I was expecting a tasty treat! Didn't happen. The bread didn't even taste like her rolls, the sausage had ZERO flavor or spices, and they were so dry! I heated them for a Christmas Eve present opening, and of the 8 people there, there was more than HALF left. A dip might help, but I doubt it. Was very disappointed.
We've used Sister Schubert's before with their dinner rolls, so we wanted to give the susage wraps a try. I wouldn't recommend buying these in advance of when you plan on eating them; if you freeze them they take 45-55 minutes to cook. If you just refrigerate them it's shorter (I believe 25-30 minutes). The breaking od the wraps taste great, it's the sausage that is horrible. The first bite was good and I continued and couldn't finish a whole wrap and ended up just snacking on the bread. Threw the majority of the package away. Very disappointing.
We are not happy with the change in vendor or recipe for the smoke sausage. We have been buying these since she made them in Alabama. Please, go back to the ones that were used just within the past three years or so.
Purchased last week for party. They were awful. Could hardly find the lil sausage in the roll. Too much dough, very lil meat. Will make my own next time.
