I was skeptical but it was the only item left on the shelf. I repaired five tubes instantly it was the easiest repair I have ever done. one great benefit is you can put air in a tire find the hole because air is coming out of it put the scab on it and instantly it is repaired if you use a patch kit you have to drain the air out of it first and then wait for it to dry takes much longer. If people are having a bad experience they're probably not doing something right. I purchased both kits and used both patches and I would go with the scabs next time I buy another kit.
I have been using them for years under high psi for dirt jumping.
Use it before on my other plants, The good thing about it you dont have to remember feeding the t to food plant.
Easy to use and conveniently packaged. BUT, skab is such an appropriate name for these. Leave it alone, it will come off on its own. I used 5 of a pack of 6 on one puncture, and when going to use the last one, was given a cheaper black self adhesive patch that has lasted more than the two days I got from each of these. Great if you are looking for something that takes very little space and just need to get back home, but not a suitable long term repair. Would not recommend.
I tried them on two different tubes and the leaks reoccurred within 24 hours. I would recommend sticking to regular patches
Tried these twice. Failed twice. Then I had to clean the gooey adhesive off the tube with solvent before I could apply a proper patch.
Had small hole in new tube, used 2 would not hold enough to allow riding bike. USELESS, worthless, WASTE OF $$. DO NOT BUY!
Every patch failed to hold air after inflation, regardless of hole size, including the tiniest of pinholes. I'm an old guy who has successfully patched many tubes with different types of patches, and these just don't work. Time to move on to a different brand.
Patch appears to work, but once the tube is under pressure (about 25 psi or greater) the patch leaks air like a sieve. Replaced the patch twice to make sure, and all three times they just did not work.
Not the rubber patches - the vinyl like you use when fixing a pool raft. Tried one but did not hold up despite following directions. Seller made return difficult so just trash at this point as I would never trust them on a tire even for emergency get home use.
