So much fun, just opened it for Christmas 2015 & having a blast. It's raining outside we are stuck in doors, this thing has bounced of the ceiling, walls, hit the floor & is still in 1 piece, very durable. It really hurts when the propellers hit ya. Bought for a 5 yr old, can't wait to get him out to the soccer field with it. Merry Christmas!!!!
I have to agree, it's really cute, and tiny. Perfect trainer for her to learn on before I let her fly mine. Great control indoors, the stunts work as promised, all in all a well engineered little bug. Could be a little less expensive, but she's worth it
Amazing!!! It is awesome. The nano drone flies backwards and side to side easily. It has so much control. It can fly forward really fast. It is fun indoor and outdoor. Buy it at Walmart in Kansas City, or wherever you are located. Just a tip, buy some replacement blades online. It comes with 4 extra ones but you may need more. You can usually fix the blades but they can break. It is a little difficult to change the blades. Have fun with it!
At first we were hesitant to purchase one because of the size however we decided to just make the purchase. We don't regret it at all! The size of it makes it fun to fly around and mess with others as they don't see it coming. The charging time is fast and usage of battery will last at least 2 hours max full charge. We would highly recommend this as a Christmas gift for all ages!
I bought the drone for my grandson. It is working perfect and he is very happy flying that. Has no problem works perfect.
The controller is ultra sensitive. Requires much patience and practice. There are 6 different trim controls to get steady lift off and flight that have to be adjusted EVERY use (would recommend an adult to adjust this). Which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It charges quickly (about 15 minutes) and the flight time lasts about 10-15 minutes. In my experience it takes quite a beating with crashes. I've owned this nano drone for two days and I'm still learning how to have total control. Don't be fooled by the size, this little thing zips around very quickly and is tons of fun even with the learning curve. Very impressed with the power and control of this tiny contraption. Absolutely worth it. Tons of fun. My cat likes to stalk it, that's also fun.
I bought it to learn how to fly it in preparation of getting a higher dollar video one. I learned a lot with it, but I found it was more fun using it to chase the cat.
This drone is great for learning the basics of flying a drone and is very durable. It only takes about 20 to 30 minutes to charge, however it dies after only 5 to 10 minutes of play time. Would be a solid 5 stars if it just had a little longer battery life.
Controller has a dead spot in the throttle that causes the drone to drop from the sky. Two out of three units purchased and used have this flaw. When the controller works, though, the little bug is awesome. Control is precise (except for that dead spot) and the drone is very agile. Good for seeing if you like drones, and for learning the basics of control (assuming the controller works) at a reasonable price before stepping into a more expensive one.
Ok this thing flies like perfect unless it drops dead for no reason. My first one had the tendency to just quit flying and drop dead mid air for no reason. After about 3 weeks the charger for my first one went completely dead - no lights and no charging. I exchanged it for another one and it is working 100% perfectly. I know a guy that bought one that had the charge cable stolen out if the box. This leads me to believe that the charge cables are not so good. I would highly recommend unplugging the charge cable as soon as it's done charging. I left my 1st one plugged in all day while I was at work and sleeping. Also if you notice a rotor stop spinning it is likely just jammed from having the rotor jammed up against the motor face. Just pluck off the rotor and carefully reinstall it. I love this product but I am afraid my charge cable will go bad again.
