When my wife and I were expecting our first baby I told her not to go hog wild on buying baby furniture. I rather use it for a college education or heaven forbid a minivan. She picked out this table and it was pretty easy to assemble and it's held up well during the first year. Hopefully it'll see him through his diaper days and through the days of his soon to be little sister. We really think the table was a great investment on our part.
I bought the changing table after looking around at other baby furniture stores and realizing that walmart had the best deals. I thought that the changing table would be a little unsturdy. But I was very suprised to see that it had no chips or dents all the pieces were there and it was extremly sturdy. It was very simple to put together. My friend & I did it and it took us maybe an hour. I think this is a wonderful product. Also a great price!!!!!! Haven't tried it out yet still waiting for the baby to get here so I can not say how it works with a baby yet.
I really am pleased with this changing table. as the other review says, it is a little difficult to put together and the instructions are not completely clear, but we managed just fine. the drawer did get caught on the screws on the side at first but then we just tightened them and it worked perfectly. i definitely recommend it for the price you pay. it is very sturdy and very pretty especially compared to others similar to it that cost twice as much. We feel like we made a great decision in buying this changing table and are very pleased with it.
Site to store experience was good. Opened box in baby's room. Immediately smelled a VERY strong gas/propane smell. Opened windows and thought it would air out. The whole upstairs smelled within a few minutes. We closed the door and let it air out over night. Still smelled in the morning. Moved it to the garage. Washed the entire product. Determined that it was the changing pad that smelled so bad. We discarded the changing pad, I had bought a different one to use anyhow. It no longer smells, and is very nice. It was a little difficult to get the boards in place, just had to use a hammer. Overall, I am very happy with it now. I would recommend opening it outside or in a garage prior to moving it inside though.
This is a beatiful changing table. Although it is very lightweight and the wood is a little rough. The shelves don't seem like they would be able to hold a lot of weight. The drawer is a great idea, and it works fine... as long as you don't open it very far. All in all I'd say it is worth the small amount you pay, and it is a very cute changing table.
Just received and put together this product. I'm unimpressed with the quality of the finish - one piece has a large portion of laminate stripped off (luckily I could hide this at the back), and another piece has a long crack (unluckily this is a prominent end piece). However it's sturdy and otherwise as advertised, and is a good value for the amount paid. For a piece of furniture which is of limited lifetime use, it meets expectations.
For the price of this product, I expected more. It was somewhat difficult to put together and the instructions weren't entirely clear. The drawer gets caught on the screws holding the slide in place. It's pretty flimsy overall and the paint is pretty thin (in some places you can see through the white paint). Finally, the changing pad is very thin - I will buy a seperate one to replace it - so if you think you are saving money that way, you're probably not.
This is a great changing table, other than the drawer under the thing is junk. If you do not expect that to be functional, it will be a good table for you. Held together pretty good, and is solid and doesn't twist when you pick it up, which is good because squirming kids will be there a lot. If you don't really need the drawer, it's ok. I wouldn't even have put it on if I knew how it was going to work. Oh, and the pad they include is junk too. Just buy a changing pad cushion that is scooped to hold the baby and it looks great.
I wasn't expecting much, considering the price. I choose this one because I was looking for a particulate color, dimensions, and most off all price. The drawer took a little adjusting to slide properly. But, over all it looks nice and is sturdy enough for it's intended purpose.
This product is very very cheaply made drawer doesnt even work also they didnt even send us directions to put it together we had to figure everything out over alll NOT satisfied and the pad that comes with it is useless also its like a centimeter thick and all flat no cover even fits on it WAIST OF MONEY!!!!
