It's a great material spicily for high mileage cars. I used it for long time ago.
Good product. Good price. Shipped fast
Protect engine and lubricated components
Great product to keep your machine running smooth. Been using Slick products for 25+ years and using them not only extends engine life you get better gas mileage. My SUV is rated at 24 mpg highway. Just made a 1,200 trip and averaged 27.2 mpg.
I've been using Slick 50 products for years and will continue. My 2001 Ford Explorer Sport has over 140,000 and still going strong. This keeps the engine wear way down and I do a lot of highway miles. The same with a 97 Prism I had before this one, over 130,000, lots of city and highway mileage over the years. After every oil change I've used this and have even extended the time in between changes when I just couldn't get around to it. Walmart delivery was great and the price was right. Inspections are a breeze so with this one, spare yourself lots of problems and pay for a better product.
I use it in all my vehicles with every oil change every 25000 miles. That's a savings of 9 oil changes at $29.00+ an oil change = $261 savings. Oil can last millions of years in the ground but only 3 months in my engine or on the shelf ?
I've used Slick 50 Engine Treatment in my vehicle since I bought my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee brand new 12 years ago. I pour a bottle in the crank case after every oil change, and that's always with 100% synthetic oil. I used to buy it at pep boys. But, I found out wal-mart sells it cheaper than anyone else around. So, I've been buying it there for the last 3 years. 195,000+ miles later, my engine is still as strong as ever, and it has passed smog tests every time when inspected!
My car was making a noise like I was about to blow a rod. Everyone said your car is shot and then I put slick 50 in my engine and my car runs great. Doesn't sound like that anymore. it's amazing stuff!
I have been using Slick 50 in my engines for many years, since I'd added it to an engine of an old truck. The truck had a radiator challenge a few months afterwards and much to my amazement, the temperature never reached boiling. I've used it ever since. However, it's no longer made for low mileage engines (probably has something to do with manufacturer's warranties)
This does NOT contain Teflon if that's what you are looking for. A better choice would be Slick 50 Ceramic Engine Treatment.
