Finally a bar without sugar, sugar alcohols, or fake overly sweet sweeteners. These bars are very tasty with a great texture. The chocolate coating on the outside is great, but does begin to melt quickly so I just keep it in the wrapper as I enjoy it. The peanut butter portion has a light texture, and the chocolate chip bits offer a nice little crunch. There is no chemical aftertaste that is typical in most other meal replacement bars, and the fact there are no sugar alcohols means unwanted gas is not created during digestion. My only complaint? The price per bar is much higher than other SlimFast bars.
I recently tried the Slim Fast meal replacement bars and both flavors of snack cups. I found both meal bars and snack cups to be rich in taste and very satisfying. The snack cups seem to have a darker/harder chocolate than the bars and are a great 'fill in' for an afternoon slump or even an after dinner snack. Neither product has a fake taste or leaves any aftertaste. The price of $2 per bar seemed high at first, but I would spend 3-4 times that on one lunch and feel just as full, so overall it's a better deal - and figuring the Keto ration is done for me!
These Keto bars, both flavors, are just plain YUCK!!!! Could not eat them.
