I bought these scissors so I could just clip a mistake away if I need to . They work just likethat. Wonderful bargain! I made a huge mistake, and they clipped out every one of my stitches. I don't have to worry about using a seam ripper. I would definately recommend these to a friend or for a gift for someone that does a lot of needlework.
