I love this thing! It really does the job. I am able to clear my deck, sidewalk, front and back walkways in no time at all. Better yet, it is almost effortless, and takes the snow all the way down to the surface. It isn’t heavy, so it’s easy for me to go from frontyard to backyard, carrying it right through the house. The battery charge lasts and lasts. I have yet to run low. I was worried that it might not handle deeper snow, but it handles it in one clip. As an added bonus, I think it’s fun. no more sore back for me! What a great machine!
Easy to assemble, easy to use. This product is perfect for the harsh Canadian winters. Battery life is just phenomenal and can get recharge rapidly. It’s blowing snow as advertised, 25 ft away. No more back pain clearing the path to get to my house. Just love it!
I never owned a snow blower/shovel before and went into this purchase with an open mind. Used it once with a 4 inch snowfall and it really performed better than I anticipated. I was essentially able to operate the shovel with one hand. I chose the 40 volt with the plan to purchase a lawn mower of the same voltage. I'll review the mower after I purchase same come late spring. So far so good.
The Snow Joe iON13SS Cordless Snow Shovel has truly made my life much easier this winter. As a woman in her late seventies living in Western Maine near the White Mountains, I find the task of clearing paths with a hand shovel difficult. But with the Snow Joe cordless shovel, I can quickly clear with ease, and keep clear, 13 inch paths from my door to the garage, the propane tank and the generator. The cordless shovel is very easy to start and its light weight makes it easy for even an older woman to operate. I didn't expect it to be as helpful as it turned out to be.
Very effective and time saving. Had already 6 inches of snow last night, Snow Joe opened the walkways easily... I'm not worried for the next 6 inches. ;-) Where does the snow go, Bro? .... The snow goes where the Snow Joe throws.... :-)
This product is according to the description of SnowJoe, the capacity is sufficient even in the hardened snow, I use it 6 or 7 times without problem, the life of the battery is sufficient for continuous use up to 45 minutes without showing a decline in revolution, the only flaw is the weight when using long. It is a very good product I recommend it. Wireless use is super nice and ergonomic
Nice shovel. works well. being cordless is very handy. Only complaint it was really hard to assemble, the 2 parts of the handle would not go together, I was unable to push the length of cable between them into either part, had to remove the handle from the shovel itself to get the slack cable in.
Easy to assemble following instructions Battery charge wss @ 1 1/2 lites, <50% Had to wsit for Christmas day to use shovel; we hsd 3 snow dys of ice & wet snow Downside - Can only use on dry, fluffy snow; not sufficient for Buffalo snow Blower works great ; battery charged fully before use; wt was tolerable At age 66 & arthritic wrists/knees I was able to use shovel fairly well Most difficulty was lifting shovel for depths > 6" & being 5ft tall; very sore next day I have long, wide driveway & 50 ft front walkway - too much for shovel I will consider getting Snow Joe Snowblower for my winter needs Otherwise, product performed as promised I also have Sun Joe Leaf Blower, Vacuum, Mulcher - Works Great!
The shovel is heavier and a bit bulkier than I thought it would be, but, once it's running, it flies along nicely. Unfortunately, I live in Baltimore. It hardly snows in Baltimore. I tried the shovel on the 1" we received in December, and it was fun using it, but it really wants to have at least 3" to show off. What was I thinking?!
I received the day our snow storm started. It worked well, easy to put together. Once the snow started and was 10 inches, was harder. The next day as some of it melted, I was able to do my back deck. My son used it and said worked well was easy to use. Still have some shoveling movenents but not the massive lifting and throwing of snow. As it states up to 6 inches works after that need a bigger model.
