I have been using this snow removal unit for several years and it is great! It is so much easier than pulling with a normal roof rake. You just walk forward and the snow falls off! Just remember to do the removal before the snow packs down and hardens! Otherwise not much helps....the day after the storm go out and remove it from the roof. Easy to put together. I cut off some of the nylon runner as my roof did not need such a long length. I am 77 with2 shoulder replacements and if I can do it anyone can!
I have not been able to use it yet until the snow flies.
One of the best investments I've made. Efficient and enjoyable to use for it is less work and a timesaver. I've not only shown it to family and friends but offered to do their roofs, as well.
We are in our 70's and found the Snowjoe easy to use & it was very good at helping us remove 18" of snow from our roof. It's really nice when a product works as advertised.
Works great if the snow is soft and fluffy, if snow is crusty, not so good. Debris slide wind up could be better designed.
Works 10/10 on north side of roof. You need to be proactive and clean the south side BEFORE it starts melting. Once there is an ice dam this tool is no longer useful.
Clever idea especially having the 20 foot polyester "debris slide". However best for newly fallen snow and not too deep. Also difficult to manage in windy areas as the slide becomes a hindrance and the entire apparatus unwieldy. The extension handle is several pieces that snap together with a small button. Not easily done with gloves.
Very poor quality, I don't think it will hold up to much use. For now it's ok. Comment: the snow apron is way too long.
I don't know whoever did, but the seller messed up the order. What more can I say? I did not even open the box but returned. Feel bad for Walmart.
Item arrived and was not 28 ft as described, it was 22. Contacted Walmart and they said to contact Snow Joe? I did exactly that in their rep could barely speak English. I was advised to open this brand new item and pull out the warranty card and read them the number. Ridiculous, but okay I did it. They sent me a UPS return label and received that item in 2 days. They agreed to send me the 28 ft in return. They shipped it via USPS and it took nearly 24 days to arrive. In the meantime we had two major snowstorms in the Midwest. When item finally arrived it was the exact same item, 22 ft. I called Walmart and they refunded my money. I called Snow Joe and they had no idea what I was talking about whatsoever, they claim they don't sell a 28 ft. Bad business all the way around. Somebody needs to fix this website and make people understand they are buying a 22 ft. Hopefully this review saves somebody the hassle and time that I had involved. One other thing....... Once the wrong item arrived for the second time it took 6 days to get Snow Joe on the phone because they wouldn't answer their phone.
