Cocktail toppers work with a large range of cocktails as well as on milkshakes, smoothies, as a cake decorant and other drinks where some extra fun is wanted.To use, make your cocktail and gently place the cocktail topper flat on the top of the foam cocktail - do not submerge. Given that Toppers are made from fondant, they will gradually absorb the moisture but should remain on top of the foam. For best results, avoid ice which may cause an uneven fluid level onto which you lie the topper. We also recommend that a straw be used with the drink unless customers wish to taste the topper as they drink (toppers are fondant based so have a sweet flavor). Toppers can be removed from drinks when served or can be left and will simply be left at the base of the glass when done. Stirring the drink once served is not ideal as it will cause the topper to be blended into the drink which will sweeten the cocktail and change its texture and color. We always leave the topper on the foam in its original placement and simply use a straw so the visual appeal of the topper remains throughout.for the absolute finish, use Snowy River cocktail sugar or salt to the rim of the glass prior to adding your drink and the cocktail topper.
