It would be wonderful if you have this amazing snuggle exhilarations Island Hibiscus and Rainflower fabric softener easy to find on many stores like walmart, sam's, bj's, target, Dollar General and so many other supermarkets lately when I go shopping is very hard to find them on stores and this smell is one of the BEST it also help me a lot with my hypersensitive skin by far this is the only one I tolerate.
Snuggle Lavender & Vanilla Orchid Fabric Softener is definitely a fragrance to have in your laundry haul. The scent is very calming. The scent keeps your clothing smelling fresh while they are in your drawers for weeks. The packaging is very compact and does not take up much space. It doesn't irritate any of the members of the family skin. A little goes a long way. I recommend it.
As a reviewer for the Walmart Spark Program I received a free bottle of Snuggle Exhilaration's Island Hibiscus and Rainflower Fabric Softener 50 FL OZ. I am not hard to get along with. I say this because when it comes to laundry detergent and fabric softeners. I don't want any strong smells or anything fancy like that in my clothes. Just give me something simple that gets my clothes clean, fresh smell and soft too. For me, Snuggle Exhilaration's Island Hibiscus and Rainflower Fabric Softener fit that category exactly. I washed several loads of laundry using off brand laundry detergent, which usually leaves the laundry feeling sorta rough like cardboard, as if it isn't completely rinsed out of the fabric. That's when the fabric softener usually comes into play, to loosen up the fabric. The Snuggle Exhilaration's Island Hibiscus and Rainflower Fabric Softener did a fantastic job, making the laundry soft without smelling as if they were overcooked, you know that toasty smell. There was a pleasant smell of fabric softener afterwards. It just felt fresh and clean, and to me, that's what is important. I highly recommend Snuggle Exhilaration's Island Hibiscus and Rainflower Fabric Softener. Its a great product.
This review is for the Snuggle Exhilarations Island Hibiscus and Rainflower Concentrated Fabric Softener. It is a new fragrance in the Snuggle line of fabric softeners and it has a very pleasant subtle flowery scent. It's safe for all washing machines with the HE symbol so that you can know that for certain. The bottle is decorated with lovely island flowers. The bottle says it's good for fifty loads, however if you have an HE washer it will be a few more. I have an HE washer and have to add water to the fabric softener per the machine's directions so that's why it will be a few more loads. The liquid is a very light pink color that looks a little watery but don't let that fool you. This fabric softener does just what it says. I washed a load of towels with it and I could still smell the scent even with having to add water. Actually I think I added too much water LOL, that's why I was surprised to still smell it. I then dried the towels using the matching fabric sheets and the scent yet remained. I really like this scent and I don't care for a lot of smells so give it a try.
This softener had a nice scent. Smells better after the dryer cycle too. Clothes feel clean and not filmy. I experienced no static cling as well.
My favorite laundry fragrance
First of all, I want to say, this is a good fabric softener. It made my clothes soft and eliminated static. But, if you are looking for something "exhilarating" or a smell that last from wash to wash, this is not the fabric softener. When I opened the bottle, I noticed right off that it had a "light" scent to it. It was a good scent though. I added the liquid to my clothes while my washer was running water for the rinse cycle. The washer started agitating and I watched for a few minutes. A few bubbles were in the rinse water with my clothes. I thought this was strange but, maybe I had put too much detergent in originally. I checked the bottle to make sure it was fabric softener and not detergent. I did the same process with another load of laundry. This time I made sure I had not overloaded it with detergent first though. Bubbles again in the rinse water after I added the Snuggle fabric softener. I did this two more times, with the same results. I will say that after the rinse cycle ended and all the water was spun out of the clothes, they did not feel weird or anything. Just soft and a light scent to them. I dried my clothes and they still felt soft but, the scent was even lighter than before they were dried. And, after a few days, no, I could not smell the fabric softener scent on them. But, they were still soft. If you want a scent that will "last from wash to wash" like what it says on the bottle, it has to be a strong scent.
I purchased the newest version (it's in a blue plastic container vs purple) of the Lavender & Vanilla Orchid yesterday (06/01/2021) and I am so disappointed with the way it smells I am going to return it. I don't know what was done to alter the smell, but this is NOT the “purple” Snuggle I have loved the scent of for years. I hate when companies change something about a product so much, after being a regular user of said product, that I have to find an alternative. The three star rating is based on past experience using this fabric softener blended with my extreme disappointment of this new fragrance formulation. I didn't even use the newest version because I couldn't get past the smell.
I have been a faithful customer towards Snuggle Products, especially the Island Hibiscus and Rainflower Fabric Softener and Scent Boosters, they were my absolute favorite products! As of lately though, there seems to have been a change in the aesthetic & fragrance to the fabric softener & I do not like it! The old Light Blue Version was worthy of 5 stars for its performance & smell but the new Pink Version deserves only 2 stars. This new Pink Version is unsightly & smells less pleasant as compared to its Light Blue counterpart. The new fragrance is way too floral & it's quite agitating to the nose, whereas the Light Blue bottle's scent was pleasantly sweet, light, & all-around wonderful! Please change it back to how it used to be! I will gladly spend my money on the old Light Blue version if it is brought back!
Why oh why did you change the scent. The new scent is nothing like the old one that I have loved & used for years. The new scent smells like overly sugary cereal with over ripened fruit. It is VERY unpleasant. Please change it back to the old scent recipe and rename.this as something else. It is awful!
