I did a ton of research, looking at customer reviews on websites, as well as youtube. I hated shaving, and using self wax was a mess to say the least. So I finally gave in and purchased this Epilator, nervous that my $70 would be wasted. I am very happy I did. Totally worth the money. Some people say it hurts, and the first time is the worst. I had no issues except in some sensitive areas like around the knee or ankle. But I love it! I have recommended it to family and friends. It definitely does what it says. Though it took me some getting used to and since I have a lot of thick hair, I had to use it a few days in a row. But it is a great product! Worth the money!!
This is my first epilator so I'm not sure how it is compared to others but I've used it twice now and it works great. It hurts like crazy but that goes for any hair removal like this (epilating, waxing, etc) but I think this one is really nice
The first treatment hurt a little but it was worth it. It tweezed ALL my chin hair.
If you are buying this epilator because is rechargeable, you have to charge it for 16 hrs. and you will be able to use it just for one time with a good speed or you can plug it and use it without any problem! .
Bye bye dark armpits!!! YAYYYYYY.. Have been using this product for about a month or so, and I have to say I am very impressed overall. YES it is indeed painful at first, but NOT UNBEARABLE. After the first two times you actually get very used to the "pain" and it feels normal. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PRODUCT. MUST GET!!!!
So I have had tons of issues with hair removal and I was always nervous about trying an epilator. I used my mom's 20 something year old Epilady and found that the coil of metal just didn't get the job done and took several pulls to finally get the hair out. I found it painful at first but once you use it for few minutes it becomes almost like a massage or like getting a tattoo. I decided that I would invest in a higher quality and newer epilator since I always seem to have problems shaving. First I tested it on my underarms and OUCH it was not pleasant but after a minute it was much more tolerable and only a minor burning sensation (which was soothed quickly with a Vaseline based lotion). It took out all the hairs in one or two pulls and it left none of the little red bumps that shaving does. And no dark spots! On the legs, it worked just as well. It was still painful in the sensitive areas like behind the knee and thighs but all in all, it did a fantastic job at pulling out many of the short hairs although not all of them. I would say this is a great product and if you're tired of shaving this may well be a great investment for you to make. Have not tried on upper lip or bikini area but I would predict the same painful start and then not so bad. Hope this review helps you make a choice about purchasing this epilator!
This thing works great! I'm happy with it and will buy another for a gift.
Everything started well. I used it no more than 10 times. and now the second it touches my skin it stops spinning. it takes few seconds to pull one hair. I'm really disappointed
Would NOT recommend this product at all. I found not only was it terribly painful though at some point I suppose you try to succumb IF in fact the epilator does pull out a hair or 2 while CUTTING the majority of the hairs. Not what I expected at all - buyer beware. Expensive & not what I expected at all. Much better off with a razor in my opinion you'll get better results.
this is not worth $5..dont buy.im returning it.it doesnt get all the hairs out i spent 30 mins on my knee to my ankle and their were still hairs.plus i looked at my hairs and only like 5 had the root attached.completely awful product
