I bought these solar lights 2 years ago. They've been out in all weather, including snow, since I've never taken them in. They still work, a little rust on the edges, but still great looking. I haven't even changed out the batteries. And they do look really pretty in the snow on a dark night!
The solar luminary lights I purchased add a touch of elegance to my beautiful new deck!! I love them and intend on purchasing another set. I would reccommend these to anyone. Sometimes I have to hit them to come on but no big deal, a little tap and they work perfectly!! They definitely add to the ambiance.
The solar lamps, do not provide light, however they do provide a very cool projection out of the cut out, respectively. It needs to be dark (the darker the better) for the images to reflect. It does better on concrete. There was a problem I had with the stakes. The threading of two of the four stakes was not long enough, so I will need to make two short stakes and the other two at the original height, no real promblem. Looking forward to displaying them at my daughter's big fifteenth birthday party.
These luminaries are so cute! From reading other reviews, the first thing we did was buy a can of black spray paint for metal and sprayed them to prevent rusting. We purchased them in June and so far they haven't rusted a bit. I don't have any flat surface to properly show off the beautiful flower-shadows these cast, but even just the light shining through the cut-outs at night are adorable. These work best if you have them close to a patio or blacktop where you can see the shadows. Would highly recommend. They look great!!
Bought this set of solar lights for a friend as a Christmas present (so I could find her house after dark!!). They're a great little set for the price you pay. I was a little concerned that they didn't stay lit very long after dark, but now that the days are a little longer and the sun is actually shining, they're bright and lit for hours after sundown. Ended up buying some for myself too! Would definitely recommend!
This was just what I wanted to catch the eye in my garden at night. The lights were smaller than I expected from the pictures but accurate if I had read the product information. There are already spots of rust from the first rain so I will be painting these soon but I am thinking of ordering more of them.
not what i thought it was. was missing two screws and one of the batteries wont work. i dont have a place ready to put them outside yet but they do light up my fireplace mantle at night . i am sure they will look great outside and be the envy of the neighborhood. the patterns are gorgeous.
I loved the Decorative Sunflower Lighting. However, I did find some issues. The solar kit was on the cheap side & there were a couple that did not work properly. The lighting was not very bright. Also, putting the hooks together were somewhat challenging. I will be calling to see if I can get an exchange.
i absolutely love the idea and they were VERY cute, when they worked, which was about 1 month and now they are not working......they are not made very well, in my opinion..... unfortunatly, i waited too long to put them out from when i got them and now they are not eligible for returns.........i actually do plan to buy more though, and will put them out immediatley and if they are no good, they are going back to the store!!!
I have had mine 3 weeks and as the other customers have stated they are quite a bit smaller then I expected, however they are cute. After they were assembled and placed out side only two of them have worked. The other two have not. They worked when I assembled them but never have worked since they were out side. The reflection is pretty big.
