I recently ordered 2 of the 32' solar powered rope lights after we had a power outage that lasted a couple of days. I replaced the electric rope lights and now not only do I have light on my large patio all night long, but I no longer have to worry about the electricity costs. In the event of another extended outage I can also pull them inside, put the solar collector in the window and have lights! I would highly recommend them for anyone who lives in an area where the power goes out frequently or those with cabins located off of the grid.
We used the solar rope light to illuminate an area around our patio. Even though it's winter time here we decided to set it up now versus waiting until summer. This item provides a nice amount of light and since it is solar that is a huge plus. We don't have to worry about plugging it in, using a timer to control on/off, nothing. Solar is the way to go.
These lights are very sturdy and strong. I can't wait to put them in my trees this Fall. Thanks. The Maj
This solar powered rope light by Greenlighting was recommended to me by a friend. It was super easy to wrap around my tree and emits a nice bright white light. The lights come on at dusk and were still on when I went to bed after midnight. I also loved not having to use any extension cord cables. In summary I would not hesitate to recommend this item to family or friends.
I put this light around our carport at our lake property, Great for areas where getting electric is a problem. Easy to install several neighbors have stopped and asked where they could get one. A good value, and a great price.
These lights are well protected and very pliable. I used them to line the curvy, rock edge of a flower bed. They have only been up a few days, but they look great and worked well after just a few hours in the sun. The color is soft white. I like them so much, I am planning to buy some more!

Only stays on three to four hours even though energy component is totally unobstructed and subject to sunlight entire daytime.
Product was easy to install. I had followed the product recommendation of charging for 3 days before initial usage, and yet each full charge (under the strong Florida sun) lasted only about 3 hours. I returned the product after two weeks of usage. Even though, the return was due to the bad quality of the product, I had to pay to ship the product back to the Seller. This product was sold by a third party via Walmart hence not returnable at Walmart. This purchase experience left me with a bad taste shopping online when a return to a local store is not possible.
The only reason I gave this even 1 star is because of the ease of putting up. The lights only stay lit for a couple of hours & then they're dead. I consider that bad performance. No I would not recommend these lights to anyone. Waste of money.
