I use the product in my family room to hold my entertainment system and network gear. This allows my equipment to be more organized and neat.
very sturdy if built correctly and big, I have very heavy stereo equipment and it's holding very well. the design is vintage which looks very nice, reminds me of the old school stereo systems but this one is by far much more sturdy and bigger.
This type furniture is difficult to find, but we are so happy we found this one. Not many people sell stereo cabinets anymore. The instructions were easy to follow. All the pieces accompanied the cabinet which is a major plus! The wood is durable, sleek, with a nice rich black color. I give this 5 stars without a doubt! Despite the fact I have a very old stereo system, all components fit. However, I did have to cut the backing some since 2 of the components were slightly longer. No big deal.
It came very well packaged and was exactly as described. All my hifi components fit right in perfectly. My only beef is it is heavy and they should have used casters instead of legs, i had to add felt tabs to keep from scratching the floor when moving it. Plastic tabs for shelf support? i would of went with metal ones myself. The assembly instructions are good for an engineer but for the average user not so much. Good thing i'm mechanically minded and can read schematics hehehe. ;o) Assembly was fairly easy though and all edges aligned up well. i definatly would recommend this for any hifi enthusiasts needing a component storage cabinet.
Flimsy box until the back is affixed. Not a wholly terrible piece. Wouldn't use it for my prestige system, but works well for the fun room. Needed a little reinforcement though.
We were sent this one which looks the same but did not notice until today, since we are just going to put it together?!?!?Sonax THC-100-C Holland Media Cabinet. It seems to be the same but am checking further. Not sure why this was done but will be contacting customer service if there is an issue of the not good kind and if need be will contact VISA. I sure hope there is no issue as this piece is very heavy
I returned because of the quality of this product. It was incorrectly manufactured. Don't buy it.
