Great speaker. I love that it's not tied to a voice-enabled application. I want to listen to the speaker, not be listened to by my speaker. I love that these are compatible with all of my other Sonos speakers and easy to set up, move from room to room, or outside. Sound production is excellent and the user interface through the Sonos app is well designed and easy to use. I occasionally have issues streaming SXM, but all other apps work great. I've recently started using the alarm function, I never thought I would appreciate it so much. Great way to wake up and start my morning.
I looked into Sonos because I wanted a multi-unit sound system that I could use to play music throughout my apartment. I have two Sonos OneSL speakers and they're so simple to use. Each have a single cord, setup is easy, and I'll never have to think about it again. Highly recommend
I've own Sonos products since they introduced the play base and it's still going strong. Added a Sub, portable and three SL Ones. Superior sound quality for a wireless system and easy to add to. I wish the new APP was more user friendly. Can be confusing for non techy people. Looking to purchase the record player soon.
I have added this One SL to another one to work as surround for my Sonos Ray soundbar, it really took the soundstage to another level! I am so happy with this purchase since it added a lot of value to the Ray and made the experience so much better.
I loved everything about it until I discovered it doesn't work seamlessly with all other Sonos products on the network when it's connected to a wireless extended router on the same network (same SSID). Oh well, maybe they will get that solved in the future.
We use this product at home and in our co-working space. The sound quality is awesome. The functionality of the app is its biggest con. For those not super tech savvy, managing different music on different speakers is difficult. And for those who are savvy, it's frustrating because it glitches and should honestly just be easier.
Bring a pro audio/video integrator, I initially loved the product and still love the sound...when it finally connects. I have had more setup issues and have to rejoin my network and Sonos system almost weekly. I own two Sonos Move and a pair of Sonos One SL. When they work, they fill the room with sound. But are unreliable.
I cannot use this or any other Sonos products I own except the sound bar because of the new app update it does not work and is a horrible design. If this was my first experience with Sonos I would never recommend it to anyone ever
I own 10 so is speakers, so clearly I love the brand. However, I recently purchase a "refurbished" SL one that, despite Sonos tech support, just would not work. Customer service was good about sending a prepaid postage for its return, but needed to get that back - not just scanned by UPS - before sending out a replacement. One in 10, not bad odds. But still frustrating...
I don't like anything about it. I would love to send it back if I could. I put it back in the box and hope to find someone willing to take it. Extremely disappointed in this product. I love new gadgets, but will never use this due to connectivity and ease of use.
