This is my first Sony TV in several decades. I upgraded from a Vizio to the Sony A80K and I could not be happier. I find myself wanting to watch TV more now that I am experiencing OLED technology firsthand. I can't imagine ever going back to anything but the sights and sounds that Sony offers with thisTV
My aging eyes were having difficulty reading banners and sport info inserts. This 65" beauty solved this issue. The picture quality and color rendition are best of the major brands I compared. I've owned 3 other Sony TV's since the 60's and 2 other brands. Sony is the best and worth a little extra $.
Took me a while to see / get used to the different technology. Worth every penny.
Easy to use and set up even for a elderly female such as myself. I have minimal knowledge about Tech products and use. For example. I couldn't figure out how to photograph my receipt for downloading on the product warranty site. Oh well. Yet I set this TV up by following the tutorial. Best of all I could brag to my grown kids and they were all delighted they didn't e have to come do it for me. FINALLY it has a simple easy to use Remote.
I bought this TV early July . At first I was hesitating cause it is in a room with a lot of lights and during the day there is some reflections . I watched Morbius on Bravia core and the movie have a lot of dark seens . All the details. Were perfectly seen but it seemed to me that I need more lights and colors . So I went to Best Buy and watched some dark seens on this tv and on the latest Samsung tv s25 I believe . And then I realized that the picture is amazing compared to the other one the brightness was practically the same Samsung was a bit brighter but lacking the details . So I decided to keep it .
Good fit , light to move, sound bar not needed....
Hands down the best television I've ever owned. I miss it when I'm gone! Incredible clarity, colors, and contrast. I'm truly amazed with the sound. It compares to some of the soundbars I've had in conjunction with previous TV's. I truly love this model from Sony.
I bought this tv earlier this month. I love the picture. Especially for movies with dark backgrounds. I would give this tv 4.5/5 stars. The only downside is that it doesn't get very bright.
Tv is great but delivery service is poor. Order it twice and got box raptured both time along with damaged screen. Walmart needs to work on the delivery partner, it's sad to see waste of $$
It showed up with a baseball sized shatter in the screen. The box was damaged on arrival. We could not replace with the same tv and had to have a refund issued to affirm and buy from Amazon. Very frustrated with the experience.
