One of the best Oleds if not the best ones
Great deal, everything feels premium. I'm used to a 10 yr old 40" TCL so this is a world a difference. I was worried when I saw it was coming FedEx but my 2 delivery people were excellent.
Sony is OLED pioneer who sold technology to LG. This TV won't disappoint. Too bad SONY stopped producing it. But, good for customers as it now more affordable. Awesome picture, great sound comes directly from screen. This TV takes less space for 65” TV. Height only 32.8” with stands, which has 3 different options to install. High quality with top metal plate illuminated remote control. Nicely blended with Google TV. I bought extra warranty
We are just in awe every time we turn it on. I've had Bravia TVs for years. I have the 55” & 65” A8H series but want larger for newly refinished living room and this Master Series 83” did not disappoint. It is definitely the most expensive tv I've ever owned but would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Very accurate colors. Best price I managed to find for a OLED master series Sony TV because all master series are very pricey, but Walmart has the best price for this new 2021. Highly recommend!
I got this TV shipped very fast from Walmart. Arrived the next day, however, the box seems to have been damaged and that caused a minor scratch on the back panel and broken a plastic cover. Upon calling Walmart, they did offer for exchange but I refused because there was no guarantee that next TV would arrive in proper shape and wait time was more than a month! Overall happy with the TV but not happy with logistics and customer support. And 4 stars because of that!
I bought this 65" XR90J high end tv expecting Sony quality & performance. Unfortunately brightness was/is a struggle, used Vivid to get the most of it, all the other settings didn't help. Then less than 2 months from purchasing it a vertical white line showed up on the right side of the screen triggering a replacement, what a hassle!
It would be really helpful if delicate items such as TVs and electronics can be delivered by Walmart delivery services themselves with care, instead of having ups or FedEx deliver them, where it's thrown out of the truck onto the belt. I will be surprised if even one of them is received in one piece. My tv came broken and it wouldn't switch on at all. Some of the items were also missing in the box, but I'd be more concerned if I was gonna keep the tv.
Received this product broken with two large cracks across the screen and it wont even turn on. Things happen, but instead of Walmart doing anything respectable, they made me rebox the 71 lb lemon and drag it downstairs myself (yes by myself, despite knowing my postpartum wife cant help), offered me $25 off my next Walmart purchase of $45 (hooray!!), wont replace the TV because its out of stock (but available at many of their partners), and will take up to 3 weeks to refund my $4000 so I can then afford to buy another TV from somewhere else. There are many ways this could have gone better: 1) Sony making a more durable product (hesitating to buy this TV again despite the rave reviews), 2) Walmart offering some actual compensation (not a coupon code for another Walmart purchase, which I dont plan on making), 3) Walmart listening to my personal circumstances and having someone help me rebox and send the TV back, 4) Walmart using their connections and leverage to arrange a new TV to be shipped from one of their partners, and/or 5) Walmart providing a more reasonable refund timetable on this massive purchase so I can buy another TV sooner. I chatted with Walmart before buying this very expensive TV and was reassured that they would back my purchase, and they certainly did not. Walmart lost a very loyal customer, and an expensive TV purchase, in the process. Hope you also think twice before buying this Sony TV (or anything else) from Walmart.
Where do I begin with this nightmare of a purchase from Walmart? Let's start at why I haven't bought at Walmart consistently for the last decade, quality and customer service and lack of. I've moved on and past this retailer. Here comes 2023, Black Friday deal, top rated deal on slick deal, FOMO, what the heck let's just upgrade to a better TV for $1500, what can go wrong? Then the horror begins from shipping Walmart partners with FedEx to try to get the TV to my place, after 2 exceptions (the delivery guy doesn't care or neither tries to navigate instructions. After 2 calls to Walmart and specific highly coordinated information transmitted to customer service and FedEx the TV gets dropped off. Now the fun begins, I notice a huge footprint on the box. After opening the TV up halfway setup I noticed it does not power on. Power outlet was wobbly and damage. TV flickers and that's when I noticed a HUGE crack on the panel at the bottom. Basically 2 things happened, FedEx mishandles the package. Second, Walmart ships TV rerouted to me from another customer return w/o fully vetting their product(this is more likely the case) because the packaging seemed off and refurbed not new. Nightmare part 2 the sequel. Immediately request for a refund (no offer to resend new tv so at this point I missed out on all the great TV deals) REFUND will take up to 3 weeks. This is a joke right? Quick to take my money and now I'm out of pocket for almost a whole month. Chapter 3 The Farewell. This has to be the worst purchase and process I have ever dealt with in over 30 years. I will never again buy a high value item from Walmart let alone a TV that a billion dollar company cannot figure out how to handle (how about not use FedEx??). I guess customer service was typical standard as they didn't do anything for me. Conclusion. If you want the worst customer purchasing experience and stress, buy from Walmart. Just a big waste of time and thanks for ruining my holidays!
