The new Alpha 7 IV is an exceptional hybrid camera packed with outstanding still image quality and evolved video technology with advanced autofocus, enhanced operability, and improved workflow capability. The model was developed with the environment in mind by using Sony’s original recycled plastic SORPLAS for the camera body and packaging with recyclable materials and less plastic. Thanks to a newly developed 33MP (approx., effective) full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor, superior image quality and a Wide ISO sensitivity range expandable to ISO 50 - 204,800 are achieved. The high resolution enables the Alpha 7 IV to express smooth gradation, fine details, and textures of the subject while reducing noise, and its 15-stop dynamic range allows a wide expressive range while Creative Look settings can help create original looks effortlessly for both stills and video.
33MP full-frame Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor 8x more powerful, next generation BIONZ XR image processing engine Up to 4K 60p 10-bit 4:2:2 with full pixel readout in all recording formats 7K oversampling full-frame 4K 30p 10-bit 4:2:2 with no pixel binning Beautiful color expression made simple with S-Cinetone color profile

excellent all rounder! fast accurate autofocus! 33mp is a nice step up from 24mp. as a stills portrait shooter this camera fits the bill perfectly.
It's a great product for starting my social media hobby. Compared it versus a7iii and this iv is so much better.
Only had the camera for a couple of weeks, the S-log 3 footage it’s a blissed to edit. @7IV + Davinci Resolve = Endless creativity. The elephant in the room? The 4K 60fps crop but, I only use it for Broll and tend to go a bit tight for this shots. And thank you Focus Camera for making this transition so smooth
This is my second big purchase from focus. I purchased the Sony a7iii about four years ago and now the Sony a7iv. Super fast shipping received the camera in three days. Ordered it on Friday night received on Monday. And of course, the camera is amazing!
Best camera I ever owned. Lightning fast AF, easily keeps up with Toddlers and great lens choices. #sweepstakes
Great Camera, came on time.
Impressive Sony quality. I upgraded from the Alpha 3. I wanted the extra MPs, shutter speed, and rear display panel adjustability and touch screen. Picture quality is great as always. Glad I upgraded and didn't disappoint. Worthwhile upgrade if you are deciding on a new camera and have the budget.
I bought this camera and I'm actually really glad that I bought it. The only thing is on my first time use on a video project the camera overheated and I was unable to use it. Took me two days to figure out exactly how to not get it to overheat as much as it did. Sony, I respect you as a company but please do not release a product that you know that overheats. Resolve those issues on the front end so the customers are happy. Outside of the overheating issue, it's an awesome camera I'm glad that I made the investment but I wish I had not almost been embarrassed due to my camera continually overheating and shutting off during a video shoot. I am glad I had my a6300 as a backup. If you're doing photography and short term videography it is a great camera. For demanding video work, make the adjustments in the settings menu so that the camera does not overheat as much. I have faith that Sony will be working on a firmware update or something to resolve the overheating issue. I would hate work for a company that would release a product knowing it has issues and do not resolve it before release. No manager, CEO, Board Member or anyone would be happy making a purchase and then find out it has problems.
When I received this camera, the box was unsealed, the instruction was missing there were some signs of use. When I checked how many pictures that camera made, it showed me nearly 5000 pictures. With this number, I consider this camera as used one. But the return process was pretty smooth.
The Raw Image quality don't work and keeps giving me a error message This operation or setting not available as follows and well as the Noise Reduction. So now I have to send the camera back and wait for a new and hope it Dont give me the same issues. The camera does take nice photos so far but this is annoying only had the camera for a week. And customers service was rude tech support was no support.
