The nickel metal bezel and base are perfectly complemented by the ivory molded casing. Although compact, the 1/4" black numerals against the white dial are clear and easy to read from across the room. I always wanted one,but the clocks that i had were still giving good service. Until,last month. I won't mention the brand,but it suddenly stopped.The time in my bedroom is very important and I usually wake up to soft music.This new CUBE not only with music but also ocean sounds.Truly wonderful!!!!!
I received this as a late Father's Day gift on 06/20/18. It was worth the delay. The time display is very clear and does adjust to that just right brightness so as not to blind you at night. The AM/FM radio is very clear for a mono sound. Even has a number of nature sounds to wake up or go sleep too. Radio/Clock has a battery backup using the CR2032 lithium battery. You can even charge your smartphone up by using your USB to cellphone cable. Initial setup was easy, but it takes a few try's to get it right. You will not regret buying this FM/AM Clock Radio or even better if you get it as a gift as I did.

We purchased this for the projection of the time on the wall or ceiling. It works very well and is handy to see the time in the middle of the night without the need for glasses. We are both in out mid 60ies and a bit "tech challenged". This product is very easy to use.
I received this as a Christmas gift. I wasn't sure I would like the time projection feature but decided to try it and I really like it. I also love the variable brightness of the digital display on the clock face. The fact that I can charge my phone using the USB port is an extra bonus.
I was amazed at how hard it was to find an alarm clock that offered a large display that was not too bright to sleep near and more than a buzz or radio to wake up to that would start softly and increased in volume. It was easy to find 2 or three of my requirement, but not all of them. I had hoped for a more inexpensive model, but was happy to find one at all! It has so far met all my requirements although the increase in alarm volume is very, very slow. I just set it to start at a higher volume and it seems ok. It was pretty easy to set up - I only use one alarm, but 2 would be easy-ish, too. I have not yet used the time projection, but it seems like it could be useful at some point. Looks nice and is easy to read.
This was a gift. It replaced the alarm clock, 'Sony Dream Machine, Model B1392683' I had for over 20 years. It was also a cube with dual alarm. I know Sony products and I'm sure I'll have this for another 20 yrs. My sister gave me this one and got one for herself too...She always liked my Sony Cube!
This is a pretty wonderful projection clock radio. There are a few points that keep me from rating it as five stars. First is the pretty small buttons on it. Big fingered people will have trouble. Second is the number of steps to go through to program an alarm. Make no mistake: you do program, not set the alarm. The station, volume, time, and days of the week the alarm will sound are all programmed. The night projection image is rather bright and has no brightness control. What is great about it? Several items. You can fall asleep to a nature sound at a low volume, but wake up to a radio station at a louder volume. The alarm starts off low volume and gradually gets louder. It has digital tuning and digital volume. The clock display has three levels of brighness plus off. The alarm set time displays on the clock but not the projection. The projection does show if either alarm is set to go off. The projection image can be rotated by the push of a button, each depression rotating the projected image by ninety degrees.Sound quality is not great but satisfactory for waking me up. It does take some reading of the manual to get the alarms programmed. I like the USB power outlet. It is useful for charging any USB powered device. You cannot play through the clock, however, just plug it in for a charge. If you are looking for a clock with nature sounds as the reason to buy this clock radio, that feature is not that great. Each of the five different sounds is about a 10-15 second loop that loops over and over creating a certain rhythm rather than random sounds of waterfalls, waves, rainfall (sounds more like bad static), jungle noises, and underwater bubbles. I am happy with my purchase, and would buy it again.
Clock had good features and was easy to set up. I only use the rain sound to sleep and can quickly detect the repeating in it but it isn't bad. The display on the dimmest setting is easy to view at night without being too bright. I don't use the time projection. Seems like a good product so far.
This clock is so irritating! The buttons are hard to see, and there are so many steps to set the alarm. For example, you have to press the snooze/sleep button to advance between the hours and minutes, but then again for the volume, radio or buzzer choice, etc. By the time you have to do it again, you've got to dig out the instructions. Then, there is no way to turn off the radio once you've gotten up without doing a bunch of odd steps, and even THAT is mysterious.
