I purchased this speaker to work with a Sony DH590 receiver and a couple of vintage Technics tower speakers to replace a soundbar and subwoofer for TV and music. The speaker arrived quickly and was easy to hook up. The sound is great and clear. This set up is way better than a soundbar and sub. Very pleased.
My previous A/V Receiver (bought in 2000) did not have a Center Speaker option. My newly purchased STRDH770 does and so I selected this one. It is more than enough sound for me!
My original center Sony speaker was small. Up graded all sony speakers and a Sony 7.1 HD reciever. Kept missing some dialog. Now can hear dialog and everything else. Not the best speaker, for the money above average and blends in with rest of Sony speakers.
When it comes to Sony home stereo components & Flat screen TV's I have always been pleased with my purchases. The center speaker I recently purchased was a great addition to my home theater system. Great price for a quality product.. Sound quality is excellent.

Adds needed depth and presence to any home theater system. Went from an almost lifelong 2.0 system, to 2.1. After adding this center channel, I'm angry I hadn't added it sooner. Great clarity for speech/dialogue. Crisp highs, warm and inviting mid-range. 5 stars!
I had a complete surround system in my home, only thing was missing was a powerful good sounding center speaker. I bought this Sony Center Speaker to match all of my other Sony speaker and I couldn't be happier about the sound of it. It's powerful independence ohm and the clarity sound it crystal. Very powerful too. Great product! The price was good to.
My old center speaker from JBL started clucking, so I got one from Sony. Better quality, better sound. I am very happy.
I just received it two days ago or a day and a half ago and I opened the box put it on top of my Sony stereo right underneath my 65-in Sony abravia flat screen and I haven't hooked it up yet but it sure looks good down there I'm sure it's going to be great when I hook it up
