I picked this up a couple weeks ago, to use while walking on my treadmill. my old radio, which was a cd player broke, but that had so much interference when my treadmill was on, so i was leery about purchasing a radio armband, worried it might do the same thing. this sony radio works so wonderfully and has no interference with my treadmill running. the sound is great, nice bass booster, i love that. and i love that i can preset all the stations that i love. we live about 20 miles from the city, so i was even more impressed! i picked up more stations on this than i did with my cd player/fm tuner. the armband is nice, and easy to use. you may also not use the armband and clip the unit right on your clothes. great price, and i recommend this! not to mention, the weather channels, and tv channels too!
Awesome clarity. Price is right. You ain't gonna find nothing this good for $40. I use it walking and riding my scooter.
I bought this little radio hoping that I could get good reception when I walked along our bike path here in rural Athens, Ohio. My hopes were dashed, as the stations I usually listen to at home were not strong enough to sustain a good signal on this radio. Maybe in an urban area, where there are very strong signals, it would be OK, but in our area, it was not a good choice.
