I love how you can use your cell phone to make hands free calls with it. This seems like it is built from high quality materials and should last a long time. I love that it is waterproof and dustproof. Overall this is a great speaker and I would highly recommend it.

If you are looking for a portable speaker for the beach or for camping or any other outdoor event, look no further. This Sony bluetooth speaker is great quality. Its water resistant. It literally took me 3-4 mins to install and hook to my phone. I played music through Spotify and youtube and the sound quality of amazing. XE200 provides charge for up to 16 hours of music which is fantastic. You can pair up to two devices which is great. You can download the sony music center app to control the device through your phone. It comes with a nice strap that you can use to hang the speaker to a chair or a hook easy. Overall, the best portable speaker I have used. Sony is the best.

I like that it talks to you to let you know when the battery is getting low or when you hook it to your Bluetooth. This is a overall really great product.

The sound is crystal clear and loud. Easy to set up and charging is a breeze ,once done close and the port is hidden away. It's high quality and well made and would absolutely recommend this fabulous product.

Sounds great, clear & sharp. The charging cord needs help. The plug broke inside the speaker charging port so we returned it and got a new one. Because we have the geek membership we were able to exchange the old one for a new one otherwise we would have to go the Sony to replace it.
The sound is good, pretty color, but I have a speaker from the same brand that I bought 7 years ago and it sounds better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I have been using Sony products for about 20 years now and have been completely satisfied up until now. We have had a few portable Bluetooth speakers in the past and have been happy with them but this one is a different story. This speaker was easy to hook up, it hooked up to my phone and iPad very quickly and easily. Upon playing the music I noticed that it sounded terrible, it was very bass heavy and it sounded as if it had a pillow over it which was muffling the sound. I thought for sure I did something wrong and maybe I did not set it up properly so I went through the directions again and did a web search and found out everything was operating as it was supposed to. I tried several different genres of music to see if it made a difference and they all sounded pretty terrible. I did find that lying to speaker on its side helped a little bit but not much. Talk radio seemed to work better since there was no music involved. Overall, we are very dissatisfied with this product and believe it does not live up to Sony standards.
