[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down one of the LOUDEST Bluetooth Speakers that I have ever owned! I couldn't be happier with this speaker! It was super easy to hook up to each of the phones in our house mine & my husband's with ease and no problems at all, it didn't take long at all to charge it either and it has held a charge for me for days & days, it even has an app you can download to use for it, it also allows you the option to receive calls from it and talk through a speaker on it. You can tell its made from some very tough strong durable materials that's going to last throughout the years! This is a speaker that I highly recommend getting you would be so glad that you did! It's a great value for the money too! Sony is an amazing brand too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable speaker works really well. It was very easy to connect to my phone and start playing music within minutes. The sounds is very clear and the volume control was easy to use. The volume can get pretty loud when turning it up which worked great when I was on the beach. With wave and wind noise, I had no problem hearing the music. You can also set the volume to pretty quiet if you just want some light background music while at home. I love that it is water and dust resistant which is great for going outside. The charging port is covered well so you don't have to worry about moisture or dust getting in. The battery last long! The battery lasts for hours and hours, and I love that you can hit the “BATT” button and it tells you how much longer the battery life is. It is also quick to charge which is nice when you are short for time. I like that you can have it standing up or put it on its side. The sound quality is great either way. It is also easy to take calls from it. The sounds quality is great for calls and the caller was able to hear me well on the other line. Hanging up is easy too by just clicking the call button one time. Overall, I really love this Bluetooth speaker. I love that it is wireless, portable, durable, and has great sound quality.
I have the XE200 and it lacked on the low end which hurt the overall sound. The XE300 fixed the lower frequencies and sound full with good detail. Where you place these speakers make a huge difference, in a corner with the 200 helped bass a bunch but the 300 it could be too much bass and get a little boom. I would definitely recommend this speaker and there app.

But not that big it will look great anywhere you want to have music it's portable you can bring it room to room With great connection. I had it working in under one minute the Bluetooth connection was fantastic easy to do you will love this speaker the sound is great the size is great the battery life as long is wonderful!

It is very sturdy feeling and seems like it would hold up to a few drops. The speaker has a type c charger and gets a complete charge pretty quickly. The speaker has two different apps that pair with it. Music center helps control what audio you are using, control things like bass and treble, and connect other speakers with it. The second app is fiestable, which is a fun little app that lets you play dj. You can add sound affects and instrument sounds.Both apps are good, but the speaker... its amazing. The battery on it also last much longer than any other sharable speaker I have ever tried even when playing loud music!

I don't know whether this was Sony's or Walmart's fault, but I received a used speaker. When I connected to it, it advertised itself as something like, "Joe's Speaker", and the bottom was smeared with gunk. The speaker's good.
Sound isn't great. Yes it can get “loud” but the tone is flat across. Manipulating bass and treble doesn't produce much difference. The app from Sony offers nothing but a a way to pair multiple speakers for stereo use.

As the owner of a Sony XP500, which I absolutely love, I was expecting to love a small, tabletop Sony speaker. That was not the case. This speaker looks similar but that where the similarities stop. The sound is so muffled that it literally made me angry to listen to music. It sounds like I'm listening to a speaker that is sitting at the bottom of a full aquarium. On top of that there is absolutely no bass and no way to adjust treble. Sure it's dust and waterproof (it states) but none of that matters if you ever want to use it. I've had cheap Bluetooth speakers sound better.
