I recently remodeled one of the bedrooms in my home, and was looking for gray furniture to go with the theme of the room I had in mind. I was skeptical about buying prefabricated furniture made of particle board, but the finished product looks incredible and very classy. I am so happy with the way this bed looks in the room (I purchased the platform bed to go with this). I will say that building this took way over an hour--maybe even two hours, and I probably could not have done it without my husband. There are good directions, but there are certain pieces that do not have holes drilled into them. Theoretically, you should be able to just screw directly into the wood - but you do need to measure precisely - and my husband just drilled the holes himself. You also need a screwdriver that has a square shaped head. I am very happy with the finished product. It looks extremely nice - not like I imagined particle board to look.
It was as I expected. A flat platform with boards not slats to hold mattress. This wa a very large box and Puralator had to send it with two delivery men. You definitely need help or experience assembling this item.
I bought this bed couple of weeks ago for my son and it's actually better than what I expected. Quality is decent...in fact better than my other son's bed, which I paid way more for. The look is great and it was easy to assemble. Overall I'm happy with the bed and the service... it was delivered in a few days right to my door. I was pleasantly surprised with my first Walmart.ca purchase.
We needed a solid bed frame for my 6 foot son and we struck gold. This bed is very well made for the cost, and supports a lot of weight. The assembly instructions are clear, but there are a few guide holes that were missing, so you have to make them yourself. Even though the instructions say not to use a drill, we used one because for the amount of screws involved, using just a screwdriver would take too long and would be too tiring. Warning: This product comes in one box, so it is very heavy. You need two men to lift it.
I bought this bedframe and it is exactly as it is described. The two challenges I found are that this frame should ideally be in a bit of a larger bedroom as it is a substantial piece. That is the good news. The not so good news is that I have my frame in a smaller bedroom and hit my knees on the frame all of the time! Overall this is a good, quality piece of furniture.
Just moved. Haven't slept in the bed yet. Easy to assemble. Did it in 30-40 minutes. Only downside is that boxes are super heavy. Need 2 people. So far looks durable and the colour is fantastic.
I would have given this a 5 but there were too many pieces to put together for me. I had to get 2 brothers to put it together. But the total look is great... received many compliments regarding the entire set.. the dresser and nightstand included.
I am finished putting together the bed and although there were some bumps (literally and figuratively) along the way I love it now. First the bed is more of a charcoal colour, not a deep black. Second, It comes with plastic dowels which are too small to hold the bed together properly. I assembled the whole thing by myself, with some small difficulties. For example there are several parts you need to screw in that don't have pre-drilled holes or marks. I used a simple screwdriver for most of it (and needed a drill for only one part) but it was a little bit of a workout. Third, the instructions don't have a lot of words or descriptors so that made it a little slower. And when I finally got the bed together it only lasted about 3 minutes before coming loose and one of the ends falling. Finally after going and buying some longer, sturdier wooden dowels and re-assembling the bed its now really sturdy and looks great. Only issue no wis that we walk into the side of it ALL the time its super sharp lol.
Was pleased with the product but it fell apart after 5 months.
