Great product. Well made and construction directions and parts were all there and easy to follow. I found it easier to separate the parts, screws, dowels, sections, etc. Finish product is well constructed and functions nicely. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Hey , this isn't suppose to be a high end piece of furniture but for the price point it's near perfect. It works and looks great and it matches the southshore bed and headboard that i also purchased for my sons room. For the people complaining about drawers falling out or bottoms collapsing they probably didn't follow the directions properly. I found it relatively easy to put together and if you get a board that has a blemish or imperfection just call southshore and they will send a replacement free of charge. I had a piece for the bed that i bought that had a slight imperfection and i called and they sent a replacement within a few days. Very happy with my purchase and loved the fast FedEx shipping.
We bought this dresser for our daughter when we changed her room. She originally had the white South Shore dresser and we loved it. We were so happy that the pine one worked and looked so wonderfully. It came into Site to Store in about a week and a half. It was boxed great. All pieces were wrapped in plastic wrap and tightly held together. From opening to finishing it took about 4 hours (lots of little hands wanted to help) could easily have it done in about 2 and a half to 3. Instructions were easy to follow and could of easily looked at only the pictures and been fine. The drawers easily slide in and out and it came with little pads that you put on the backside of the front drawer piece so you don't slam it shut :) It is a great dresser and she loves it!
Yes, I really love the dresser, it will be used to put in my new 1 month old, grandson room, his mom and dad can now put all of his clothing in the dresser. The price was right. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I brought this dresser to match a bed I purchased. The only thing I can say is that I had to get someone to put it together for me. In the future, I would like Walmart to provide an assembly services (for a small fee, of course). Overall, I am very satisfied with the product, it will serve its purpose.
I got this for our teenage sons room. It matched his other furniture very well. We had it delivered to our home so we had to put it together...that was the only negative.
Assembly time surprised me, I am an experienced woodworker and KD furniture assembly is quite easy for me. This dresser had lots of parts and pieces to assemble. It went OK but I was disappointed at how long it took.
We just needed something to get us through for a while with baby #2. After reading TONS of reviews and looking at prices on a lot of sites, this seemed like the best option. It looks just like the picture. It seems like it will hold up for now, but I don't think it will last more than a few years. One of the pieces was cracked when we took it out of the box. I was mostly disappointed with the depth of the drawers. Thank goodness I am only putting newborn clothes in it right now - not much more will fit! It serves its purpose and was a cheap solution for the time being, but you definitely get what you pay for!
This product has VERY poor instructions, the holes for the pegs and screws were rarely if ever lined up and screw heads were often already stripped or WAY too low in construction for a normal screwdriver often requiring use of a pair of players or bigger screwdriver with a lot of force....
very soft wood and the drawer gliders are plastic doesnt work properly, the drawers are hard to open and forget about the manual it was written by a 1 yr old its a nice looking peice but thats the only thing thats nice
