this is the perfect size , higher than a regular dresser and shorter than a chest , perfect dimension to match our king size matress bed , easy to put together , the only thing I dont like, is the hardware , looks old and low quality , but easy to replace for a nice one .
Bought this dresser for my twin 7 year old boys. The space was tight where we needed it and this piece fit perfectly! It came into Site to Store in just a little over a week and a half. The box had a few little dings in it, but when we opened the box we were surprised by how great it was packaged. Nothing was dinged in shipping and it was wrapped beautifully. The box itself was a lot longer then we thought. We were able to fit it in our van but had to lay the back seats down as well as the middle seat in the middle row. Would recommend useing a truck to pick it up, the car ride home was a little cramped. I was able to put it together in about 4 hours (lots of little hands wanted to help) it could be done a lot sooner the instructions were very easy. Didn't really need to read them as long as you follow the pictures. It is heavy and so I recommend having two people to move it.
I was skeptical of purchasing this dresser because I was worried about it being poor quality and difficult to put together. Although the dresser is made of the usual cheap furniture material, it holds together strong and is very sturdy. My husband and I were able to put it together in about 45 minutes and it turned out beautifully. I would highly recomment this product and manufacturer.
Instructions were very clear and all parts were labeled. It took a few hours to put together but there was never a time that I felt confused or lost. The finished product is solid and very nice looking
I love this dresser it's very sturdy! I was pretty easy to put together if you follow the unstructions correctly, and it's spacy! The only complaint I have is there was a huge scratch on it when it arrived and a beam was broken too. Luckily it wasnt a part that went on the outside or was visible so we just duct taped it together and it worked pretty great! Other than that it's perfect and pretty awesome!
The set up took to people about 4 hours. It seems to be very sturdy. However, it did have a few blemishes on the top and side. They were not bad enough to return the product. It also had a few screws that stripped out, but still held together very good.
Some issues were noted tried to get a hold of the actual vendor played phone tag decided to use a real piece of pine to replace the one piece that was broken in two instead of waiting for the company to finally be there when their business hours declares. thought it was real wood but wasn't still satisfied just disappointed in the packing the reliability of South Shore. Also three drawer facets were nicked on the edge where the face and beveled edge meets but put those on the bottom and can't even notice. Wife seems happy!;-)
The colour is perfect and the dresser looks beautiful put together. However, the screws strip easily so you don't always get the pieces together neatly. The holes don't line up well so your screwing in pieces on an angle and then using the nails at the end to straighten everything up. I usually have no issues with South Shore items but this was a pain to put together.
It looked great on the internet and I remained optimistic even though I read other reviews that weren't so great , but oh I was so disappointed when my husband called and said he opened the box and closed the box. The top had a hole in it so we returned it to Walmart and a person ahead of me was returning the same dresser with the same problem a damaged top. The wood coloring is beautiful but if it were made sturdier it would be a much better product so if you really want it have it assembled at the store to insure all parts are there and nothing is damaged.
I purchased two of these dressers. Both came with broken same piece - the piece which you put on the bottom in a back. Something wrong with packing. My husband put a glue and some support on them. Another problem - the top of one of dressers is cracked (bent) so it's hard to close the top drawer. Because I like the appearance of them and they match my interior I haven't returned them. It took us two days to put them together (including gluing two parts and waiting overnight).
