I bought this pillow around Christmas, and I'm buying one now for my kids since they are always stealing mine. I had pain in my neck before I bought this, and it was gone shortly after buying this, and it hasn't come back. The only thing I didn't like was the musty smell it has for the first two or three weeks. There was a little slip of paper in the wrapping that tells you there will be a "slight odor" for a few days, but it really smells musty almost moldy for a good two to three weeks, but after that it's fine.
I've had chronic stiffness/pain in my neck and couldn't turn my neck sideways or backward. I figured it was something to live with. Then I started getting headaches that extended down my neck in the middle of the night, and thought I'd try a new pillow. I tried this pillow and it melted the tension in my neck completely. I feel like a weight has literally been lifted off my neck and shoulders, plus I feel so much more rested.
My boyfriend got a more expensive variety of this pillow from a different store and I really didn't want to spend that much, so I tried this one. Side by side there really isn't a difference between his pillow and mine that I can see and I absolutely love my pillow. Each time I get woke up in the night by the cat I notice how much more comfortable my neck is and I can sleep on my back or my side and be more comfortable. The five year warranty is also a great incentive. This pillow rocks! What a great deal.
The memory foam behaves as it should. Feels great. Helping neck pain & not waking with headaches. Not for someone who likes a pile of thick, soft pillows. The only drawback was airing it for 5 days prior to use to allow the smell of the foam to dissipate to an acceptable level. (My understanding is that this is true with all memory foam.)
I bought a new bed and when i was testing out some possible buys i remembered using this incredible memory foam pillow by temper pedic. It was very expensive so one day i saw this pillow on sale in walmart so i decided to give it a try. I felt great the next morning when i woke up after using the pillow the stiffness was gone in my neck and shoulders. This is a great product and at its low price it is a steal.
This pillow is very comfortable. I don't often like to use pilows but the low profile and contouring of this pillow support my neck well without lifting me out of a flat position. Also great for lumbar support. I have one for home and one for the road.
I bought the Spa Sensations Memory Foam Contour Pillow due to my budging disk in my neck. The Spa Sensations Memory Foam Contour Pillow is very heavy and it hurts my neck at night so bad I wake up very often and now I am back using my old Foam pillow zzzzzzzzz. The Spa Sensations Memory Foam Contour Pillow is very small in a kings size bed.
It looks really comfy. But looks are extremely deceiving. There is hardly any give in this pillow, unless your head weighs 30 lbs or more. On the upside I also purchased the memory foam standard pillow that is about three dollars more and I love it.
