Ordered online and came when specified. My fault did not read description but was small for my Granddaughter, overall excellent product, great price and she is having a blast playing basketball.
I bought his for my 6 year old son, Xmas 2019, and he and the neighbor boys (7 to 11 YO's) have already wore it down to the cords. They play everyday. Being rubber it is the ball of choice by them over plenty of other options that now just lay around. The soft, almost tacky, grip has suprisingly kept its feel even though the cords are starting to show on some of the ball. The ball being a little lighter has allowed my son to learn the game with high spirts and develop good ball handling skills, plus it is easier to shoot. Highly reccomend, only wish Spaulding did a better job of keeping the fun prints on the market. I just bought two more of these balls from FLEET FARM, nobody else had the Armadillo print in stock.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Niece plays ball for her 4th grade class, she loves this ball. It is a little bit smaller than a regular ball and has a great grip . All the other girls on her team want one also. Now three of the girls bought this same ball and it is what they use in practice.
We haven't had it too long but it seems to be a great quality indoor/outdoor ball. Great feel, holds air well. Weighed only slightly less than a cheaper Spalding junior ball we got but for some reason it feels noticeably lighter. I hope to find the "regular weight" junior ball in the same quality for my older son.
I bought this for my daughter for a gift since she was trying out for our Rec Basketball team and made it! She was sooo excited and this mama loved the price and knowing I am purchasing equipment that is great for her to learn the game and ball handling skills. Has a great feel and she is able to hold it well for her size (shes small). Great product and will be a repeat customer!
My kids love it! Great for kids under 8 years old.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few days ago I was playing around with the Spaulding Rookie Gear (R) SOFT GRIP BASKETBALL. It is design for younger children. As the weight is ideal being lighter. The grip is good and the ball has plenty of bounce, younger kids will love it as it's weight makes it easier to pass dribble and shoot. Those wanting to prepare their child for sport participation will appreciate that it make learning skills easier and more efficient though it is designed for younger children, adults will appreciate it as well . It would be fun to play horse requiring the ball to bounce on the ground first before making the shot from the bounce a good idea and product.
My 7 year old son uses it for basketball camp and loves it!
I got this and I'm so happy because my kid keep playing that it's favored basketball
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really bouncy. Great for a 5 year old but doesn't feel like a real basketball. Doesn't have the weight of a real basketball but great for a beginner who doesn't have the power to get the ball to the hoop.
