I used the entire bag on a 5,000 sq ft Texas lawn early March (I plan two yearly applications) and lightly watered it in as directed. It does have a pungent odor that dissipates in a few days. Granules turned whitish afterwards but did not stain concrete, etc. Crickets left the lawn immediately and did not live long afterwards. Did not have a single fire ant mound unlike other years after the rains. Beetles don't make it far before they go belly up. Was not directly effective on mature scorpions, I still have to deal with that "manually" but does take food sources away. I will put one more treatment down June-July to deal with the Japanese beetle plague around here but so far so good. Still have friendly spiders and a healthy lizard population as I was concerned how this might affect them long term.
its been a great experience every time. keep up the great work! Walmart they need more money! have a awesome day!
This summer the ticks were terrible, I couldn't walk from the porch to my car without getting several on me and it was only about 4 feet away. I used this last year and it worked great so I ordered more for this summer. We had quite a bit of rain this summer so I had to apply twice (spring and late summer) but it definitely works! My boss got a different kind from a local farm store and he kept complaining about ticks so I told him to get this. He finally did and stopped complaining about ticks.
Hard to find but far superior to any other product. I used a competitor because I couldn't find this. The other product was minimally effective. This worked overnight.
I have had issues with fire ants and especially biting my dog. The bait (name brand) wasn't working. They were coming from outside of the property line. Tried this one time as a "broadcast" and the problem stopped for the rest of the summer and fall.
Pest control tech checked black circle on our lawn. Said it may be fungus or cricket moles. Bought this product from a friend's recommendation. They said it worked for them, so thought it would work for us. The black circle seems to be fading away. So it seems to be working. Will continue checking.
I called the exterminator about ants getting into the house. They gave me a price of $500 for initial treatment plus $50mo. ongoing maintenance. But as a senior living on a fixed income this is out of my budget so I bought a bag of the Triazicide granules instead for $6. It has only been a little over a week since I applied the granules around the base of the house so it's hard to tell if it's working but they seem to diminishing in numbers so far. Spectracide is a good brand that I trust so I'm confident this will do the job. I will apply another bag of this stuff in a few weeks,
I have used other products by his company and usually they all work great. Wanted to treat the yard, followed directions, put it in front yard and honestly I see no difference, bugs still everywhere
Talk adout a waste of money. I was out in the heat spreading this stuff all over my yard. All i got was hot and flea bit'in. This stuff didnt do anything.
I would not recommend this product to anyone. I had a couple of ants coming in so I placed this around the perimeter of my house, watering it as I went. However, it has been a week and I still see ants. Maybe I didn't place enough, though I doubt it as I have a small trailer home and used quite a bit of the bag.
