I'd almost given up on finding a washing machine like I had in the good old days. Laundry is a pleasure that I now look forward to with this SQ washer! Hot water selection is hot water. The tub always fills up with plenty of water. I had to “baby sit” the LG that I had. Also hate the water hose spray rinse the new washers have instead of a real tub rinse this SQ has. With this SQ I set the settings, start the washer and don't check on it until I hear the finish buzzer. My previous washer didn't have an agitator and it tied my clothes into knots. This SQ has an agitator and the tub appears smaller but I wash 8 pairs of jeans or a weeks worth of towels easily. I've had them for 6 weeks, but so far my only complaint is that I didn't purchase them sooner. I'm looking forward to many happy years of laundry day.
We love that the washer is made in America and has such an unbeatable warranty that even includes the electronics. The special preset cycles make a noticeable difference on all the fabric types. Our clothes take less time in the dryer and come out looking brighter.
I have only had my TR7 Speed Queen for a month but it is worth the money. It actually covers the clothes in water, washes in about 30 min and clothes come out smelling clean. Laundry gets done way faster than it did with my old HE machine. This thing is heavy and feels well made. It does fit a queen size comforter despite the small looking drum. Hopefully I don't have to buy another washing machine for decades.
This is a solid made washer that cleans better than any product I have ever used. The old school style washer is the best purchase!
Having gone through the ups and downs with both Maytag and LG models for the past 10 years, we did our research and decided to go with Speed Queen. We've had the units installed for about 1 month now and thus far, they have been fantastic. The water usage and cleaning as been perfect for us and the speed of the washes is outstanding - so far, we're really happy with our decision!
I recently purchased a speed queen washer and dryer. They are both so efficient and user friendly. I love how quiet they are. They have that old style with the touch screen new technology. I had front loaders and really disliked how dirty they became and their performance was awful. Speed queen washes and drys in less time and I truly feel my laundry is thoroughly cleaning our clothes and sheets. They are a bit smaller than most machines but fit better in my laundry room area. I honestly never heard of them but I saw TIK told about how great they were and after being disappointed by other big name brands I decided to try them. I love them and will now only be a speed queen customer. I have recommended these machines to family and friends.
After my last washer broke, and then broke almost immediately after getting the suspension rods replaced I decided to do some research before making my next purchase. I discovered several videos on YouTube demonstrating the build quality and design of Speed Queen washers. I knew almost immediately this was going to be our next purchase. My wife and watched several more videos and actually became excited about getting one. The next day we went to a local dealer who not only gave us the best customer service we ever had in an appliance purchase, but quickly set up the deliver of our new Speed Queen Washer and Dryer. Everything about the TR7 screams quality and a commitment to excellence. The sheer amount of cycles we have and the way we can select them is unmatched. The unit is SUPER QUIET and our clothes have never been so clean. I have told all of my friends about this experience and how happy we are. Quality, durability, and unmatched performance... What else do you want in a washer and dryer? PS My wife and I often FIGHT over using them... Crazy...
So glad I did my research on Speed Queen and their products, not only are they "American Made" and have the best warranty in the laundry business they just work!!! The TR7003WN has been an amazing washer in the last 3 months, everything comes out clean and fresh, and it has incredible washing options that all work as advertised. Please read the manual, and spend some time learning what each cycle will do for you and what type of clothes to load. I'm not a construction worker or a farmer with extremely dirty and soiled clothes. However, I do work outside in the yard, garage and see my fair share of dirty clothes and the occasional food/grease stain, and with a little stain pre-treatment, and use of the awesome variable soak cycle, I've had everything come out fresh and perfectly clean with the hard stains gone. The Auto-Fill load size selection works extremely well, it totally saturates the clothes and does great job adding more water when needed in all the different cycles, and I always use it on loads that might have a stain or extra dirty and it produces fresh clean clothes every time. The medium and large load cycles do a great job as well when required. Yes, Speed Queen's TR 7003 Perfect Wash System is unique, but it is by far the most versatile washer with all its options and wash cycles I've owned, and so far its cleaned everything I've thrown at it. Whites are bright white, colors are bright and pop, and everything smells great, while still being easy on the fabrics. I also have found I have much less lint (fabric) coming off my clothes in the dryer (SQ TR7004 dryer) as use to after washing them in a 26 year old double agitator Maytag (which was still working, but the dryer failed) which also cleaned extremely well but was obviously rougher on the fabrics. Extremely happy after 3 months of use, read the manual, use the soak cycle when required and your TR7003 will get your clothes "As Clean As it Gets" Thanks Speed Queen!
This machine means business - it is sturdy and obviously built with high quality materials. I thought about getting the TR5 model but I really wanted the additional flexibility with the various cycle options. I don't intend on replacing this machine for a very long time so I decided to get the most functionality I could, and I am not disappointed. The machine cleans great and is very quiet - I do use a little more detergent than I did with my older washer....that one agitated harshly and scrubbed the clothes rigorously. Unfortunately it also damaged delicate fabrics and shirts over the years even on gentle cycle, especially some expensive active wear (I'm a cyclist). The TR7 is less aggressive but if I feel like my clothes are exceptionally dirty I just put the wash time up to the maximum setting and add a soak. Everything comes out clean and fresh - I am very happy with my purchase and recommend it. Oh, the capacity is very large as well - it can handle a huge pile of clothes with no problem!
Got tired of buying washer and dryers every 3 to 5 years so I bought my Speedqueen set. So far it's a lot better than my other sets I've bought and I've had every brand of washer and dryers to mankind. Our clothes are cleaner and our clothes dry so much faster. I love the Steam Dryer setting.
