Both lamps are heavy, very sturdy and well made. It comes with the light bulbs. The floor lamp has 3 way lighting. 2 lamps, 3 lamps, or all 5 lamps. Really nice and plenty of light. If the floor lamp has all shades going straight up it is 5'7" tall, the arms start bending at 4'. Very easy to bend, holds position well. All arms can be positioned to front of lamp and it will stand. The desk lamp is 2'2" tall, arms start bending at base. Easy to bend, hold position well - but it does require minimum balancing of position so it doesn't fall over. Desk lamp is also basic turn off / on. All my boys, 4,6, 8 & 12 love it, and the girl teen next door wants one. I ordered site to store and it arrived in just a few days. I think if they had this lamp set in all stores it would be a fantastic seller. Especially if they had a mock bedroom set up with it on display. Very well made, big hit with kids of all ages, boys and girls, and fantastic value!
I love these lamps. They are so colorful and great for my son's room. They are the first thing people notice when they walk in the room. I would definetly recommend purchasings these lamps. Good value for the money.
Great 2-lamp set was a great bargain and even came with the bulbs! However, note that the bulbs are nightlight bulbs, not regular, and the nickle finish is dull, not shiney.
I got this because I love how colorful the lamps are and because I thought it was a really good value--and have not been disappointed. I think the instructions recommend having two people assemble it--I did it by myself and having another person to help (mostly one hold things and one screw them together) would have been easier. The two frustrating things were getting it out of the box--so well packed it was kind of difficult--and in putting it together, if you didn't get things lined up just right before you started turning, it was pretty hard to unscrew it to set it right, but eventually I did. (This is where a second person would have helped a lot, I think.) The globes were much easier to put on than I'd anticipated, too. The lamps really are fun--the colors brighten things up--and I am very happy with them!
I could not believe how heavy this set is. I thought it was going to be made of plastic, but the base is a nice heavy metal. I do not have to worry about it falling over. It is not as bright as I thought it would be and the larger light has 3 settings. It looks adorable is my son's room. I would definately recommend purchasing this product.
I purchased this product strickly on price but once i received and used the item, i realized there were many more pros to it. I love that i have a matching desk lamp that is not the standard short little lamp. It's nice and tall. I also love the various colored shades, that are inner-changable, not to mention the floor lamp has three lighting settings! Awesome!!
K, first of all, the big lamp has five lights, not four like it shows in the pic. Second, when I opened it, I thought GREAT, little tiny lightbulbs, however, when I plugged it in, this lamp gives off some serious light, lights up the entire playroom! My daughter claimed the small lamp for her room, but for the price, it's great, plus the base is so darn heavy, I have to brace myself to lift it, therefore I don't have to worry about the kids knocking it over! I'd recommend it to anyone!!
The lamps are a great price and very unique looking. They do what they need to do and that's is give off light. But not only do they do that, they also look awesome. I would recommend one to anyone who wants to add a little color and spunk to their lives.
Nice lamps and very good price but did not serve my purpose. The heavy shades block a lot of the light . Just not enough light for what I needed them for. Returned them.
I thought that this lamp would be a great value since there were two lamps included. I also assumed that the they wold be very bright given the numerous lamp heads, but the lamp is neither lamp is very light. They work fine and are appropriate for my son's room, they are just not as bright as I thought they would be.
