I once had an expensive rechargeable electric toothbrush and it stopped working very early on, and when I tried to return it to the company, it was returned to me by the post office -- the wrong address was on the product paperwork! Now I skip the silliness. I've been using the SpinBrush since it had a different brand name. This is my 3rd one, and I'm still wearing out the second one, as they last for years. Also, I use rechargeable AA batteries in them so it's not like I'm buying batteries all the time. And the brush lasts for weeks on a charge with the batteries I use (Sony Enaloop NiMH batteries, though NiCads would probably do fine.) I actually think this arrangement is better for the batteries than using a unit that goes back on the charger after every use. They usually contain NiCad batteries, which are best run down most of the way before you re-charge, otherwise they wear out quickly. Anyway, what you really want to know is how well the brush works. I feel it does a great job on my teeth with minimal effort on my part, and that's what motorized toothbrushes are all about. It has plenty of power, and unlike an earlier power brush I once used, it doesn't have a habit of pinching my tongue! Plus the brush heads are replaceable. I think I paid $13 years ago for my first SpinBrush... $5 at Walmart is CRAZY! If you are wondering which power toothbrush is the best value, this really is it.
I love it I just with the batteries came in the pack not in the toothbrush because the batteries needed to be replaced when I went to use it for the first time.
These are my kids' (10 and 12 years old) favorite toothbrushes. I like that these are reusable, and that the toothbrush heads that go on these are easy to come by. These of course aren't heavy-duty like a Philips, but for the price and with the same elbow grease of a regular manual toothbrush, they get the job done, and they do seem to do a much better job than the manual alternatives.
Check your product before leaving the store as the wrong color was provided. It did not make a difference this time because it was the same product as far as functionality but be sure to indicate if substitute are ok.
Noticed visibly whiter and cleaner teeth within days. Was surprised at the spin power that came for the heart price. Would buy again.
i had this spinbrush for over 9 years it finally gave out on me, i bought another and its even better! plus it was on sale!!! great value and great buy
I've had these before and they've great. I guess my puppy needed her teeth brushed, l 😆. Got home to give this to my grandson and puppy had chewed it to pieces. these are excellent brushes with a great price.
This is my first time using a spin brush so... Bare with me!! First the tooth brush, in my opinion it makes way to much noise (for me) It does spin, it does an AMAZING JOB cleaning my teeth, i can see and feel how it removes food stuck from between my teeth, how gently clean my gums without hurting them and of course, my tonge. It's like going to the dentist for a regular cleaning BUT from your bathroom. It comes with 2 AA batteries and just one head. Mine is white and pink which i LOVE. My only complaint, HONESTLY is the noise. Other than that, it's perfect, never brushing with a regular tooth brush again!!! The brush works fine but the head keeps water in it and while brushing the handle will start foing where the brush head screws on. This allows mildew to grow in the handle. I take it apart and rinse it out each time I brush my teeth. However it does seem to clean my teeth.
I bought my toothbrush two weeks ago - and I've already had to change out the batteries twice because water was leaking into where the batteries are inserted. The first time I thought it was me, so I was very careful on how I rinsed and stored the toothbrush but still had a bunch of water in the base. I expected better and am disappointed.
