This thing is great for what it is. Expectations shouldn't be extremely high as far as collector's editions of a thing go but it's a pretty copy. The item is an attractive case, light, but more sturdy than a usual DVD or Blu-Ray case, a small folded ad for more Ghibli steel book releases, a small paper with the usual back-of-case film information on it that I tucked into the case, and of course the two discs with the film and extras. Someone who enjoys Spirited Away as much as I do will appreciate having this edition, but it's probably an unnecessary expense and no big whoop for someone else.
Very happy with this product..especially like the metal box as it appears to keep the discs safer. This is NOT the kids movie with horses (Spirit) -- this is an anime that MAY NOT be appropriate for younger children if they are easily scared. Otherwise, we enjoyed the movie tremendously, as with most Studio Ghibli movies.
A nice little steel book. It arrived with minor scratches and dents. The case description also said it would come with a little art booklet but it was more of just a pamphlet referring to other movies. However, the Howls moving castle steel book came with a little art pamphlet so I guess it depends on the movie.
This is definitely one of the best films of any medium, let alone anime. The steelbook is a very nice shade of red, a bit deeper than the image indicates. Overall, highly recommended!
If you haven't seen its a must purchase. The steelbook is a treat.
The movie is just that much better with a steelbook version. If you aren't familiar, this is a classic Ghibli film. The blu-ray quality is really nice. I really got this because it was on sale for the same price as the regular cased version.
great packaging, really great movie
I have fond memories of this movie as a child so I got the Steelbook edition because the inside is so cute.
