I have such dry skin in the winter and hate to use lotion as it makes me cold, I do but I hate it. Did a search for solutions to dry skin and evening primrose oil was a suggestion ... works great I love it! Didnt know it was also for menopause symptoms which is all to the good. Purchased Evening Primrose in the hopes of getting relief from my hot flashes. After 2 weeks of taking Evening Primrose daily my have finally stopped.
I've been taking this supplement for about 2 years. I started hoping it would help my hormonal, cystic acne and it has! It's been a huge relief to see clear skin and not feel those giant, pulsing bumps under the skin along my chin and jaw-line. Thank you for this product!
This was recommended to me (48 yrs old) by my female doctor because I was having severe menstrual cramps along with headaches each month. I found them in Walmart but they were only 1000 mg. With a little internet searching I found these in a 1300 mg pill on Amazon. I relunctantly tried them and have seen about an 80% - 85% improvement! I also take a dry-eye oil supplement and when I first added this to my current medications, my face started to break out. So I experimented by taking half the dose (one capsule of each instead of two capsules of each) and it's working great! I have been on this combination for almost two years and it has relieved my cramps and headaches so that I rarely think about (or complain) that problem anymore. I would recommend this product to any woman with menstrual issues! At least give it a try and see what it can do for you. The capsules are relatively inexpensive and even though they are of giant size, I can actually swallow them easily. They are a soft gel of high quality and do not have an odor at all. This stuff is a God send for people with periods. I order it as my free prow not even knowing what it was. I didn't really expect much. It arrived a day before my cycle and I thoue I wouldnt see any improvement until after atleast a month. LET ME TELL YOU... MY CYCLE WAS SHORTENED BUT A DAY AND A HALF! MY CRAMPS, MOOD SWINGS AND BACK PAIN WERE VIRTUALLY NONE! I WILL NEVER STOP TAKING THESE!!!!
What's the Gelatin source ? Is it fish? bovine ? is it possible for vegetarian to eat this product?
I purchase this product on amazone, the quality was not good. im not sure what was on the soft gel, there was no smell, of any omega when I chew it to tast the product, the amount of primerose was so insignificant, it make me wonder what do they use. I took the bottle to my naturopath Doctor who smelled it, chewed on it and said the same thing "it ranside oil, not the real primerose" the primerose in it is very insignificant.
