I like the addition of D3 and easy to swallow. Delivery is best for me as I have serious illness and am homebound before the quarantines. Taking since 1997 and the affordability has always been a plus.
The softgels are rather large, but because they're softgels they are easy to swallow. It is recommended that you need vitamin D3 when taking calcium because it helps your body to absorb it better. Been taking these for years and they seem to be working for me in keeping up my calcium level. They have the right amount of calcium and vitamin D3 when you take two softgels. I take one in the morning and one in the evening.
Have a hard time finding this particular product out in the market place. Thank goodness Walmart had it because this is what my Doctor told me to buy. I need both Calcium and the Vitamin D. I like the jell capsules so easy to swallow. No after taste either.
I lost my throid to cancer in 2002, plus they had to remove 2 of my 4 parathyroid. As the doctors prescribed, I have been taking this product 2x a day for over 20 years. It has been serving me well for all this time and is helping my heart, bones and other related systems. It is actually essential to my survival, so I am very grateful to Wal-Mart for binging this to market at a reasonable price point. These liquid capsules are much easier for me to absorbed as they do not kick back from my stomach into my throat and I know that I am getting the full benefit of the dosage. I also am pre-osteoporosis for many years now and so far have been able to keep it at bay as it hollows out the bones like a honeycone pattern. Both my mom and her mom had many years of fragile bones because of this disease ravaging their bones. At 74 yrs now , I feel good that I am doing all possible to support my bones. Taking this calcium has been essential to me.
Have been taking this calcium product for awhile now. This is my first reorder. Based on bone density test results, this product has been doing its job. While the pills are large, they are gel caps and go down pretty easy. Walmart also has an easy store pick-up process. No hitches so far.
I like this product because it is easy to swallow.
With two pills per day you protect your body
These are calcium carbonate and I'm not sure why the "Rapid-Release" is any faster than the much less expensive tablets. In our experience the inexpensive tablets result in immediate gastric activity (much like taking Tums equivalent). These did nothing in that way, but of course eventually the calcium carbonate gets digested. We won't be paying this big price again.
Arrived with Soap all over this bottle from the detergent I had also ordered. Took forever to wash off the bottle, and hope it is safe with all the water going under the cap. Recommend manufacturer to use a plastic wrap encasing the whole bottle! And, be careful what else you order when you order this.
I thought I'd give these a try, instead of the tablets form I usually take. I don't know if it was the storage, or the shipping in the heat, but these softgels were stuck to each other and I couldn't pull them apart. I just gave up and ordered my usual tablets. Wish I could have at least tried them.
