I'm making **numerous** QUILLOWS (blankets combined with vintage Tshirt pockets) this musical fleece is the NICEST "NOTES" I've found over several fabric websites & in STORES. My daughter loves this throw. The size is really nice for the price.
The finished product that this "kit" makes is very nice. I purchased this as a gift for my sister and she was quite pleased. I do want to thank the prior reviewer who provided the information as to the color of the backing fleece. Why the product listing does not include a picture of it (it is a really pretty turquoise/teal by the way) or, at the very least, state the color, is beyond me. Honestly, had that reviewer not revealed the color, I probably would not have purchased this product (I was assuming that it was just going to be a boring black or white). The recipient of this "kit" is a music major in college, whose favorite color is turquoise...so it ended up being perfect for her.
The reason I ordered this as a kit is because I thought the fringe tie cut lines would already have been done as in other kits I have purchased. When it arrived I had two good sized pieces of fleece, but still had to do all the measuring around the perimeter myself. I can do that with any two pieces of fleece bought by the yard, so why this is labeled a kit is what I don't understand. The premeasured cut lines are a HUGE time saver and this "kit" did NOT have them. Good size, nice pattern, but no time savings or cost savings.
