I've only had this a short while. I'm finding it to be all that was said about it. A very good product. I feel I will get out of it what I'm looking for.
I bought my first one over a year ago. I've used this product regularly since then and I'm very pleased with my results. Additionally, I can say the service folks are the BEST.
Bought this to help rehabilitate my knees, it is smooth & easy to use & store. Display is a little complicated & I don't really use it. My wife tried it & really likes it.
I bought this a month ago, and absolutely love it! It is very high quality, well made. The seat is large and ultra padded, and formed to fit! It rolls so smoothly on the trac, and the padded grips on the handles are very comfortable. It is a shock-system for the tension, which is very quiet and the tension stays consistent, and easy to dial up or down. The meter tells calories, time, distance, number of strokes...easy to program and read. When assembling the Rower, be very sure to set the bolts out, categorize, since they look similar.I am a very happy customer.I am 6 ft tall and 220 lbs, and fit fine.
I am so pleased with my rower. I am 80 yrs. old and was afraid it would be too much for me. The adjustable tensions are a great feature. I'm seeing results after only two weeks. I feel stronger and it's flowing over into my whole life.
I have been using this rowing machine 25 minutes daily for the past 2 weeks. I really like it so far, and I am really glad I purchased it. Unlike the traditional rowing machines, the Precision Rower 1333 seems to better simulate the actual rowing action. It provides full body workout – legs, core, and arms. The seat provides good lower back support (I often suffer from lower backache). There are 12 resistance levels (#12 is really hard), which will facilitate a gradual increase in the rigor of one's exercise level over time. All in all, it is an excellent value for the money. Assembly is quite straightforward – it took me about 1.5 hours, including unpacking. To make it easy, I sorted the bolts, nuts, and screws before I started the assembly. According to the manual, the product is made in Taiwan (not in China, which is very rare these days), and certainly looks like a good quality product. I do have some reservations about the longevity of the machine, particularly the shocks and the wheels below the seat, but should be easy and inexpensive to replace. If I could, I would actually give this 4.5 stars; half a star less because I find the LCD monitor to be a little small and somewhat cumbersome. The calorie count seems to be very approximate (may be it under-counts) and does not appear to be calibrated to incorporate the changing resistance level. I also wish Stamina Products, Inc. provided an instructional video demonstrating the correct way to exercise using this machine.
Pros: I've had it one month. heavy duty parts and well constructed. Assembly was easy. Seat is very comfortable and it rows well. Cons: the seat has a moldy odor. The row arms are too wide apart making it almost the width of the hallway and touchy to push down the hall. If the arms were a little shorter, you could store it upright, but the arms rest on the floor. Only three of the six rollers contacted the channel, I had to readjust four and drill a larger hole to make the middle rollers contact the channel. If not done, the rollers will wear quickly. Only time will tell if it lasts. I recommend it if you are willing to realign the rollers.
I purchased this rowing machine because I wasn't sure that this would be the workout for me and did not want to invest in a Concept2 rower to find out. I, like so many others, look for reviews to drive my decision. I read about lots of different machines, and saw that other rowers had uncomfortable seats, they would not work for short people, and then I saw this one. It was easy to put together, it only took me a couple of hours. I can definitely feel the workout and it is very easy on the knees, etc. The only thing that I do not like about this machine is the velcro that you have to wrap around your shoes each time you get ready to workout. The seat makes up for that because it is very comfortable and has lower back support...so it's a wash. Perfect companion for my exercise room, on those days when I do not feel like using my treadmill
Purchased this equipment for my second home in Florida. It was reasonably easy to assemble and I was impressed with how well-built the rowing machine is.
I love this rower! The only problem is the rollers, more specifically, the front rollers (3 pairs of 2) I have had to replace the front rollers three times. The front rollers assume a disproportionate amount of the weight. The nylon wheels deteriorate in about 6 weeks.
