Is Amazing product, in this moment is hard but its fine
Bought the to complement my running and gym workouts. Was pleased that it was ready to use after E-Z assembly, tools were provided. Have used it daily for several weeks and it works well. The model with the multi function monitor allows for interval training. Only change made was to place the front supports on a 2" X 6" X 3' board to raise the position, which worked better for me. I rowed in college, the Stamina X Air brings back many great memories.
After purchasing two other row machines before this one and promptly returning due to many issues I decided on this one. I am so impressed with the durability, resistance and design. The footpath is great. There is a lip on the bottom to help hold your foot in and the straps actually hold unlike others with velcro. It also does not come off the ground when pulled with force like others. It works great for both my husband and I. We use it daily in addition to strength training. I would absolutely recommend this machine over any other in its price range. Only thing is that my size 8 foot barely fits. Any smaller feet would take finagling to fit.
I purchased my Stamina X air rower about 3 weeks and I love it. I really wanted a concept 2 but because of price I got the Stamina X. I'm so happy with my decision. This machine is the bomb, it's a beauty and made well. I say both machines are very comparible. I have been using the Stamina X to warm up and in my WOD'S and get the same workout out of it as if I'm using a concept 2. So if your looking for a rower and space and price concern you, get this machine, it's well worth it.
Bought this 1405 Air rower 4 months ago and love this unit. I must note when moving or transporting the unit. I would zip tie the chain to a fixed point on rower. If chain comes off from handle full dis-assembly of the tension system is required, but very fixable. Had some issues with foot platform moving put a simple fix with a 3" stainless steel strap does wonders.Note you can remove both travel stop bumpers for more range of motion great for taller users 6'3+. Using a teflon lubricant on the rollers and pulleys makes the unit smooth to operate. For the value and benefit this rower is great.
We've been happy with this rower. We've had it about a month and use it almost daily and heavily for about an hour once a week. I'm 6' 240lbs. My fiance is 5'6"ish and 150lbs. We're both comfortable on it for a workout. Seat could be a little bigger for me, but it's not uncomfortable. In the price range I'm very happy with the purchase.
Great machine, well built, feels very rugged - provides a decent workout, but resistance on it is just ok, depending on how fast you plan on pulling, the better resistance, but not as much as I expected. Perhaps if an aftermarket adjustable damper that can be attached on exterior wheel frame to add resistance is available, this machine could compete with the big names normally found at the gyms. It is a very competent product.
I love my ATS 1405 rower. Honestly I wanted to buy a Concept 2 Rower, but the price said no. I use my 1405 rower nearly every day for 6K or 7.5K workout. I row briskly at <5 min per 1 K pace. My best 6K was 28.09 for 6K. I find 200M hits help keep my heart rate up. The only issue I have with the 1405 rower is that break the foot pedals every 4-6 months. Other than that the 1405 is a great budget rower.
This is a great machine for a starter like me. Easy to use and smooth. A little loud , but you can turn up the music, not a problem for me. Great cardio, really gets my blood moving. I am a 5'2" female, it's not bad in weight, but would of been great to have a smaller adjustment for feet. Also the meter is a hard to see if you are not in good lighting. Note: When putting together be sure to look closely to detail. I ended up putting the seat and one of the stands the wrong way and had to undo. If you can get a second person to help you, that's always a plus. Oh yes, I love the color. Called customer service for a replacement my first time because I was sent a defected one, but they handled it very good. I was a bit frustrated with it, but once I got the replacement it was great. Looking forward to a healthier me this 2016!
It's an ok rower. The seat is stiff an uncomfortable, had to buy an extra pad to make it comfortable. There is no adjustment for tension/resistance. And the handle home position is too close to the fan, wish the rail was longer
