Excellent piece of workout equipment. Easy to use and easy to store!! Great value as well.
My husband and I bought this a month ago and are very pleased with it. We are 77 and 76 years of age and can not get out and walk in the winter time and this gives us the opportunity to walk even though we can't go outside. It is very easy to assemble and it is just right for us. We recommend this little "baby" to anyone.
I use this compact, inexpensive trainer at work especially when I am conference calls. I use a stand up desk and I'm also able to read my emails while using my trainer. It can be used sitting in a chair, but I rarely use it like it this. I get an additional 4-5,000 steps in my daily routine.
I was very skeptical when searching for a value priced elliptical with the features I required. With limited floor space in our living room, I wasn't even considering the more popular mammoth sized machines with electronic screens and fancy programs since their price tags were sky high. This compact little cutie is perfect for my needs. When a doctor recommended I use an elliptical as a low impact exercise with my bad knees, I knew I'd need to find the right machine before beginning my workout regimen. This machine comes in a few pieces but assembly was very self-explanatory with full graphics and easy to follow instructions. All needed tools were included. From start to finish it took me under 50 minutes and I'm normally all thumbs with assembling. This really was a snap! The unit takes up a small footprint on my wooden floor and can be moved around depending on where I wish to use it. Maximum weight is 250 lbs. and I had a friend try it who is close to that size and there was no problems with balance or unwanted movement. The handle bar offers a stable resting place for your hands, and though the benefit of an arm workout which you'd get with fancier ellipticals is lacking here, I found that to get a better all-around workout I could just swing my arms vigorously to get them pumping while I pedaled with no problems balancing. My legs felt the burn within minutes. The adjustable knob allows for a more challenging workout. The counter lets you keep track of steps, time and calories but it's kind of hard to read while you're moving due to positioning on the lower half of the base. The foot pedals are generously sized and my feet do not slip or move awkwardly. I love that the movement is smooth and there is virtually no noise so I can really jump on this thing while the kids are asleep and not worry about waking them up. With truly nothing negative to say about this machine, I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get a basic cardio workout without spending a fortune. I used Site-to-Store option and got it quicker than the initial expected time.
It was challenging to assemble alone (better to follow directions and have a helper handy!). I'm glad I opted for the model with the handle to provide the balance help/security. When I used the full-size ellipticals at the gym, the steps are comfortable, fluid movements. This compact machine has such a small circle for the steps that going slow is very jerky, but if you can go faster you get enough momentum and the jerkiness goes away. I haven't used it a lot, just a few minutes every few days, but it seems like a good deal for the price.
I wanted an exercise machine so I didn't have to walk outside in the snow. I chose the elliptical because I had read that it is easier on my knees. I needed one with a small footprint. I use it on a regular basis. It is a little wobbly, but not enough to cause an problems. It was a little tricky to get used to going backwards on it, but I have mastered that. It was a little tricky to put together because the first direction was written and pictured wrong. But after some trial and error it was easy to assemble. So far I really like it.
It was easy to put together.very lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space. Only problem is the strides are short, so its not great for tall people.
I have herniated discs in my neck and this "elliptical" does not glide like a regular size elliptical and the up and down motion caused pressure on my neck resulting in pain. Also, not as stable as I would like, some back and forth motion as well.
I purchased this not realizing that the stride was so ridiculously short that it made using the machine very uncomfortable. I've tried full size elliptical machines and really enjoyed the movement, but this felt very awkward and jerky and actually hurt my knees. I returned it.
I absolutely love doing business with Walmart, but this item is a waste of money, its flimsy and operates poorly.
