It is difficult for me to always go into Walmart, so being able to buy this basic mailbox online was wonderful. Also, it came before the due date! I am very happy with my purchase.
Perfect for what I needed. Easy to put up
Although we live in the city, our mail is delivered at the curb. I shopped around for a new mailbox and discovered that this type isn't so easy to find, but then I looked online and found just what we needed at Walmart. I like the fact that the door can be adjusted, and it was easy to attach to our wooden post. The price makes this mailbox a great bargain!
I needed a new mail box, and I ordered one from Walmart. It works perfectly.
Pro: Inexpensive, very light weight. Con: Made of very thin aluminum. I'm waiting to find out how this mailbox holds up over the next few years. When I bought it I remember reading something indicating that it will not rust. We'll just have to wait and see but I'll be happy if I can get at least 5 years out of it.
Simple mailbox at a great price. Construction is good. Nothing can rust.
Lasted two years until hurricane Sandy came blowing through and a huge branch dropped on it and crushed it. I will be replacing it with the same one. For the price, you can't beat it with a stick. The red plastic flag didn't hold up to the rough hands of my postal-carrier a couple of times, but I was able to pick it up from the ground and snap it back into place no problem. It is metal with plastic pieces that snap into place. It does not come with a post [honestly what do some of you people expect for $17??!! geeeez] There are holes along the bottom where you can screw it into place [and no, screws are not included]. For the value, it works fine.
