[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this tool chest to hold my husbands tools for easy transport and security. The wheels are a good size and the material is very sturdy. He uses this at his construction sites and says it holds more tools than he expected. This has become his favorite mobile tool chest and hes already asking for another one. The inside tray is nice and doesn't shift around during transport like others we have used in the past. The inside tray can be placed on the pull bar for easy access to the larger tools on the bottom. The front closure locks appear to be made of a moderately strong metal and my husband said the locks fit his needs for security. I would recommend this to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The inner tray has close able storage which is nice for storing basic hand tools and making them readily accessible. It also nestles in the pull out handle which takes the guesswork of where to set it down while looking for other things. The lid is hinged and the lockable latches are metal and very sturdy and easy to use, even with work gloves on. The lid is also setup to allow bungee cords to be used to secure things to the top of it. Lots of internal storage but be aware it can hold a lot of tools which means it can get heavy. No experience with leaving it out in the rain but from the way it latches I doubt it would be a problem. Handle is made of steel and long enough to make it comfortable to pull behind yourself.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Rolling Tool case excellent construction. hard plastic wheels which would be able to conquer any terrain. This box has a deep interior that can handle a large majority of tools.I also like the retractable handle nice long length for pulling the box.The top tray has 2 enclosed containers to hold smaller items like drill bits, screws etc.. My only draw back is the tabs on the small container tops I think it would be better, if the tab were a knob & the raised ruler on top is painted the same color as the logo it would be easier to see in dim lighting conditions. overall it is a great case & I highly recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stanley mobile tool chest worked well fitting one of my cordless kits but with a few home-made partitions slid in from the top (thus making separate compartments), the chest become much easier to keep organized and more versatile. I was surprised with how much weight it can carry… lifting into the back of my truck with over 70 pounds of tools, screws, etc. and there were no issues with the handle bending or breaking. There are a few changes I would make and it would be top notch. My likes… 1) Strong telescoping handle 2) Removable tray fits onto the telescoping handle thus expanding access to everything at one time. 3) Heavy duty feel, does not flex when going up or down steps fully loaded with 70lbs of tools and batteries. I even stood on it (250 lbs.) as a temporary step stool. 4) Deep storage for bulky items. 5) Hinges are pinned with steel and heavily gusseted. Should last a long time. 6) The wheels, while plastic, appear durable enough for my typical use. My dislikes (or recommendations for improvement) … 1) Locking latches are flimsy and certainly wouldn't take much to break into. 2) Needs partitions to keep tools organized better… the ribbing of the housing should be tighter spaced to fit a 1/4” thick wood spacer. 3) Not waterproof, no dust/water seal. The cover while stiff, opens up at the back corners letting dust and water in. Would not recommend for continuous use in the back of a truck unless covered. Overall, I would recommend this chest especially if you don't need a modular/ stackable set. For me and this cordless set, it works very well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mobile tool chest is something I didn't know I needed. I work as a product photographer, and we change the look of our studio periodically. Problem is, we don't have every tool I'll need. So I got this bad boy. It'll fit the tools I use most at home, not to mention it frees up space in my garage workshop. I like to use the tools of my choice (not to throw shade at the people who employ me) so having this dude on standby when I need it is choice. It's got a top section that pulls out with 4 compartments. Two of those snap closed and can keep your odds and ends in one secure place if you don't have a hardware organizer. I'll include a list of my tools that fit in the bottom portion at the end. The coolest feature of the chest (besides it doubling as a seat if you need it) is the top. It's got two grooves molded into the plastic (decent quality btw) that are perfectly sized for 2x4's. Forgot your saw horses? This'll get you through in a pinch. There's a handle that slides out to make the chest easy to move even if it's filled to the brim. It's a solidly built product. TOOL LIST: 7 1/4 Circular Saw 2 Sanders Hardware Organizer Prybar 24” level Drill 4 batteries + Charger Assorted clamps Hammer Drill Bits x2 Adjustable Crescents (big & small) A lot of pliers Stud Finder Safety glasses Zip ties Allen Keys
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing storage unit, this unit fits everything I need for the day at my jobsite, and it even has lockable latches so I can just lock it and leave it there overnight. Definitely my favorite item I've ever had from Stanley tools!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome tote! Its large enough to fit power corded power tools and the parts I need for most small projects. Its easy to roll and made of tough plastic. Nice latches hold the lid secure. I just recently moved to a new home, and this tote made a handy staging/storage platform for multiple projects. I might get another!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent rolling tool box for the mobile mechanic or on the job site. Plenty of storage space, removable tote, and lock eyeholes on the latches. Construction seems durable, including the wheels and extending handle. Also works great for storage of vehicle cleaning and maintenance products. Would highly recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a freelance handyman, this mobile chest has been great for me. It has plenty of room and organization. I use different tools daily depending on the job and so far haven't had any issues fitting everything. The handle slides in and out to pull along and has a sturdy wheel bearing system. My only complaint if I had one would be the lid doesn't easily stay open while loading tools and does tend to shut on me. I would recommend this chest
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spacious with a great removable shelf. The extendable grab bar slides out easily. Wheels and latches are about 3.5/5 on quality. My biggest concern are the plastic straps/hinges that hold it open. They feel like if the box was loaded down enough, and something fell/hit the lid with enough perpendicular force, it would snap. And that may or may not ever happen, but something to consider. I think the grab bar could extend just a few more inches to allow for an average height male to carry it behind while walking without it hitting your heels. Or, if the intent is to hold it on the side, then lengthen the foam on the handle for a more comfortable carry. I do want to stress that I really like what they've done with the removable shelf. ++ on accessibility and design in this department.
