My initial reaction was 'wow' really great long beacon and very light weight. Don't know about durability since I've only had it a month but so far so good.
The light is VERY BRIGHT. it is the best one I have ever used. Only fault is the handle is small for my hand. Could be larger. Would HIGHLY recommend this light. Can see clearly at over 100 yards on the darkest night.
Read some reviews on how great this light was 6 months ago, however I could never find it in stock when at the store. Well just so happened to be walking down the isle and saw it in stock this time. I had to pick it up and examine what all the big deal was about. First impression was quality construction and fairly compact size . It is not a huge heavy spotlight. It is fairly small and not to heavy. It feels like you are holding a pistol. So I went ahead and purchased it. I put it on the charger that comes included with it when I got home. Then after a few hours darkness came, so I got out the light and took it outside for a test. I aimed and pulled the trigger. WOW..... is all I can say. It shot the brightest white beam I have ever seen from a spotlight. All the great reviews I read were right. Super bright , turns night into day ,in a compact size that's not to heavy. I think they need to change the name of it to " 10 Watt Fat Max Vaporizing Lightsaber " I think I got a sunburn from it, so be sure to wear suntan lotion when you use it. You will not be disappointed with it. I am going to go get another to give as a gift.
OK. I bought this sight unseen after reading that it was uber powerful and lasted a long time on a full charge. A spotlight to scan my back fence line for evil wildlife like coyotes and bears, which could very well be waiting to eat my puppies, is what I was looking for, but I got a lot more. This bad boy is so powerful, the first time I tried it, I feared it would surely vaporize any living being that might be caught in it's UFO tractor-beam like photon path. I swear I felt it kick the first time I pulled the trigger. My only complaint is that for some uses, it's TOO bright. I mean, I really don't need to illuminate the nearest asteroid that might be passing by (I'm sure it could). For sake's sake, this thing is 2200 Lumens... translation, EXTRA-SUPER-INSANELY BRIGHT! But wait, what do we have here? A dimmer switch...? Sure do... Very clever indeed! Charges pretty fast too. Needless to say, I like it A LOT! A must have for those wanting to draw on clouds. Cool.
I looked for this in store but could not find it. Online it said it was ready for in-store pick up the same day. I ordered it online and went to store next day and it was there! I looked in the store again but it was not on display. First impression is great! It is lightweight, very bright on high and very good on low setting also. This has an light to indicate complete charge. Other reviews on other sites say the switch fails and charge fails but the positive reviews far out weigh the negative so I bought it anyway. For now I'm very pleased and hope to remain so.
Needed a light for around the house/outside, had a hard time forking out $50. for a light but now that we used this the wife said to get another. It lights up the woods brighter than daylight, holds a charge longer than the others I looked at. Have been trying to drain the battery for a while, a few hours a night, it's still going strong after 4 to 6 hours of use. It is light weight and easy to manage, the dimmer switch is a little awkward to use and the light comes on high power by default but we can live with that. Over all I / we have no complaints about this light and are getting more this week.
This spotlight is ideal for spotting animals in the forest. The light beam is concentrated in the center for brightness, but gives enough peripheral light to help spot animal movement. I have never used it continuously for an hour (I just turn it on for maybe 5 minutes at a time),so I don't know how good the battery life is.
These lamps are amazingly bright and will light a very far distance. This lamp quit working but was replaced and hopefully will be good to go for quite some time. I have a buddy who has one 3 yrs now and still works great!
Only had it for a couple weeks now, so far so good. Light weight and projects very bright light. Only drawback is the large, clumsy "trigger safety" - constantly engages accidentally with the slightest touch . Ex: Exchanging light from one hand to other, etc.
We live in Mexico and have been using high-powered lights for several years. This one outshines them all (literally). It doesn't take as long to charge as the others (we've had several brands) and the charge last longer. We hope they continue to make this available. It is great.
