I have not had a shop vac" before, and I am delighted with this product. It is compact,light weight and powerful. The wheels make it easy to move around, and the long cord and vacuum hose give it great range. I have used it to clean the floor of a large screened-in porch which has collected dust, dirt and pollen. I have also used it in the garage to clean up sawdust and other debris
Good Vac for my small work shop. Plenty of pick up power for sawdust, metal shavings. The inner dry bag keeps dust trapped and easy to empty and clean. I would recommend this vac to anyone looking for a small shop vac and a great price.
This is a great little machine. This made cleaning my balcony so much easier. The suction is powerful, and the tools and extender wands are great. The wheels make it so easy to get around spaces. I was even able to fit an upholstery brush from my home vacuum onto this machine. For those worried about the noise level, this is no more noisy than my indoor vac. I highly recommend this product!
Perfect size.....I left the wheels off and set it in the vehicle for ease of vacuuming. Very convenient size for small jobs. Plenty powerful enough to do any cleaning!
I purchased this shop vac based on the reviews and agree with all the favorable comments that have already been made. It is light-weight, compact, and has ample suction power. I am also totally mechanically challenged and was able to put it together myself. I am happy with this purchase.
I used this yesterday for the first time to save myself a load of physical energy and time in wet mopping a large tiled kitchen/dining area. With seven cats and a dog, I apply copious amounts of vinegar water and vigorously apply the mop. Previously, I had to wring out the mop to mop up all that excess water...repeatedly! With this lightweight little jewel and its ample electrical cord and attachment hose, I saved my strength and time and had a Clean, almost dry floor in no time. Its light weight and easy moving casters make quick work out of a normally tedious job. I'm looking forward to doing a hallway, two bathrooms, and the laundry room next...not all at once, if course! At 75 years old I've learned to just chip, chip away until the job is done!
Vacuum has plenty of suction, light weight, very easy to use. Hose or attachments needs to swivel for better control. I have looked and can not find 1 1/4 swivel connector.
Needed something for small amounts of liquids and also clean the garage floor and maybe light duty removing saw dust from a miter saw. Nice not to haul out a larger unit for a small job. Have not used it for long but being able to purchase inexpensive "dust bags" for dirt and solid waste was a real plus. A "dirt bag" is in the vacuum and it can be rapidly swapped to the "liquid" filter should the need arise. The liquid filters can also be cheaply purchased. Vacuum gets a one star deduct because it does not have a air outlet "blower" connection. Was not necessary for my application but buyers should be aware. A good value and great name brand. Have never had a problem with a STANLEY product.
i gave this 4 stars because it is very light compact and powerful. the only reason it didnt get 5 stars was that there is a problem with the hose staying attached. it is reverse threaded but it still had a tendancy to come off of the machine. other than that its a really good vac
The tool storage system needs to be designed better. Right now one might as well take all of the attachments and put them in a storage closet. The vacuum should come with a round bristle nozzle (luckily I had one from a previous vac) Caster wheels should come installed already and be larger to roll easier And finally a longer flexible hose would be nice Otherwise it is very powerful for the size (most others are half the horsepower) and is easy to move
