This is a very nice ratchet and is my go to when I need a ratchet. Doesn't feel cheap and feels very solid in the hand. It doesn't feel like it's going to break when you use it like some ratchets do.

My husband stands by Stanley tools and so do I. Most of the tools we have are Stanley. My husband is a mechanic and body guy we just bought our first home and all the tools he has and buys have lasted for years

Nothing special about it. Have not used it yet as it is for my TT WDH & will be used only when I hook-up and unhook the hitch. Stanley has for the most part always been a good brand. Did not see where it was manufactured but I can only imagine CHINA...

I picked this up about a month ago. It looked good, felt good in my hand and the price was right. I finally used it this weekend and I was not impressed. I could go more than five cranks without the selector switch centering itself, causing the ratchet to lock. I had to remove the ratchet from the bolt to correct it. I threw it and used my harbor freight ratchet with no problems. When I finished I took the ratchet apart and found the selector switch mechanism is plastic. I guess Stanley wanted to save a couple cents per tool. Go buy a Harbor Freight ratchet for less or a Craftsman Pro for a few bucks more and you'll have a much better tool.
