Kids love these scissors. They're practical, made of stainless steel, aren't flimsy, have a little slot to include / write your name on them, and also have a ruler built to the sides of the blades. Unlike other kids scissors that I've used in the past, these cut through paper cleanly and are still safe for children to use. There aren't any pointed ends where a child might stab himself / herself, and the blades themselves (while sharp enough to cut) are also delicate enough for children / small hands. Truly a fantastic pair of scissors for young children.
One of the best kid friendly scissors I've used. It is sharp but still remains safe. Has blunt tips. Has measurements on the blades . Plus a slot to insert your name. Seems to fit comfortably in child's hands. I wouldn't mind keeping a pair in my purse or car due to its smaller size.
Stanley Guppy 5 Blunt Tip Kids Scissors are awesome. It comes with a window name compartment so my kids don't lose it or someone else can claim it. It's a bit tricky to open and it will hurt the tips of your fingers when trying to pull and slide sideways to get the name in but that's the bonus cause no child will know how to open it and claim as theirs (total bonus). The scissor part has a ruler so teaching measurements can also enrich the learning experience when doing arts and crafts or just snipping away at paper. The scissors aren't sharp but get the job done from loose leaf paper to tan folders. My kids love cutting paper without a reason to do so (bonus). Note always check the handle for mold plastic leftover, one scissor had a piece come off but nothing else wrong with it.
Nothing excites my kids more than new scissors, when it comes to school supplies. Scissors are for fun stuff. They wear off their scissors as fast as they wear off their shoes. I love this scissors because they fit comfortably on my youngest's hand (9) with all her fingers in the loop for better control. My middle child (11) says they are comfortable and easy to use with only two fingers in the loop. My oldest child (13) says they are a bit tight on her with two fingers in the loop. I love that the scissors have a place for name built in so they don't lose them during group projects. The colors are vibrant. The best part is the ruler engraved to the blade for accurate cutting. What I did notice is that one of the scissors has bowed blades. It is visible just by looking. When cutting the length of the scissors, there are sections that are torn instead of cut. My kids haven't noticed but I did. Either way, kids love them.
Teaching children how to safely cut can be frustrating with many types and brands of scissors. My grandsons are homeschooled therefore art is a daily activity. We have purchased several types/brands of scissors yet few work well or at all. Most of those we have tried last for a short time. These not only are safe with rounded tips and no sharp points but cut extremely well with a durable design. The boys were thrilled with the cutting ability as well as the good fit. We really like the name tag clip which gives a sense of ownership to children. Great product!
These Stanley Guppy 5 Blunt Cut Scissors are great for our 6 year old. She constantly has lessons and art projects for school where she needs to cut out things. Now she can do it all by herself without the worry of sharp tipped scissors getting in the way. The 2 pack also makes it great when the 3 year old wants to join in on the fun.
These are by far the niftiest kids scissors I have ever seen!! The blade of the scissors have a nice little ruler for convenient measuring. The blades are also kid-safe to protect kids while cutting and are recommend for kids ages 4+. The blades are made of stainless steel for a long cutting life. These scissors also accommodate left and right hand users. My absolute favorite aspect about these scissors are the name plate window. Whenever my kids take scissors to school, I always try to write their names on them but they always seem to wear off rather quickly. You simply slide open the clear window and you can customize you child's name and simply slide it back closed. I think these are the perfect scissors for any child headed back to school. I will definitely be purchasing more in the years to come. I already have 2 school aged kids (8 years and 6 years) and my 2 year old will be starting school soon enough and I'm also pregnant with my 4th baby so I'm sure I will be buying plenty of these in the coming years. I love how it comes with 2 pairs of scissors in the pack and can easily be for either a boy or a girl with the colors options. I also love this brand and have purchased many product from this particular brand in the past. I've never had any issues with Stanley products and they also seem to last and are made of good quality materials. Overall, I could not be happier with these scissors and I would most definitely recommend these to any parent.
These are the cutest things and so safe, I tried them with my 2 year old and with other safety scissors she has A hard time controlling her fingers and positions of the scissors, But with these she is doing amazing I let her try out on a receipt to see how She did and it was a shock on how she was able to control them, They are not sharp but cuts great, Recomend for all ages and even in schools..
These blunt-tip scissors are just perfect for little hands, and I tested them on my nephew, who visits often for Craft Day. Love that they can be personalized, because being a kid is all about mine, mine, mine, so we spent a few minutes writing his name on the little nameplate, emphasis on "little" (well, there's only so much room on a pair of scissors!) because his 7-year-old fingers are a bit small to write on that little slip of paper provided. So I took that part over. Tip: you must use a regular-slotted screwdriver on the opposite side of the nameplate to unscrew the two scissors "blades" almost completely to loosen that nameplate. Once that's done, Stanley has provided a total of three blank nameplates, which is nice. I traced it onto a piece of cardstock so I could write in thin-line marker and make it a little bolder and sturdier (see pics). Once I re-tightened the screw, my nephew was good to go and cut out a picture of Bridger, his Great Dane. He had no problems with the scissors; they cut fine, were comfortable and easy for him to use. The back side of the packaging of these two pair of scissors lists all the features, and I think Stanley has thought of every possible feature you can put on a pair of child's scissors, like a built-in ruler, my favorite (if they could have put a sippy cup on it, I'm sure they would have found a way) so I applaud their ingenuity and love the scissors!
Kid safe scissors are sharp. Cuts very well. I will advise you still Monitor your little ones when using them. The tips are round to prevent injury. The best feature to me is the name tag on scissors. I would personally request to make scissors color in pink. I recommend this scissors.
