I would recommend this vacuum to anybody its small its compact and it does a great job
Bought one 4 years ago and still works very efficiently. So satisfied, that I bought this 2nd one for our 2nd home.
bought this to help clean aviary. once hay is removed this works great. it picks up all the feed and mess from the floor. Makes things so much easier!
It was smaller than I had expected but it works really well. It is a little top heavy but I like the fact that it is easy to use and not heavy
I ordered the 16 but got the 8. instead. stanleybfails to mention that their hoses and nozzles are not standard size, so if you need attachments, it must come from them. this also hinders operations for most battery pack tools with vac attachment built in. (milwaukee, Dewalt, roofing, and skill are all brands that the hose will not fit in for sure! other than that, works great, built well to last. only comes with 1 dust bag and instructions do not even hint at how to store the accessories a preferred way to easily pick up and go.
On web site says it is 4.5 horse, on the vac it is 4. Hose is smaller diameter but it does screw into the canister which is great. Power cord is only 6ft, thought I was getting a 10ft. Have only used dry vac feature so far. All that being said, I like it. It is light weight, rolls easy and the hose will not pull out. Has nice attachments and will suck the socks off your feet. It is everything this 73 old female needs in a shop vac.
Stainless steel rather than painted metal canister was main draw for my use. Water pickup is very good. Dry pick up is also very good, even with vacuum bags. Attachments are adequate for my small shop uses. Mostly, the compact size has been the best feature since it is taller than wide which makes it easier to store out of the way.
The product worked great but I didnt open it for a few months after purchasing and it was then that I realized that some of the attachments were missing.
I wanted something small enough to store and transport in a limited space. The hose is only 1-1/4 inch but satisfactory for smaller jobs. It does have excellent suction.
I got it ready to use and it will not start. I've checked all cords, outlets, read instructions. No matter what, the start button does not work.
